Bought one of these from DComp the other day for my son's PC build.
Really nice case to build with.
This is a bit cheaper though.

Looks like same price at some other retailers too, scorptec, umart.etc

    Which is better
Lian Li Lancool II Mesh RGB Tempered Glass Mid Tower Black/White $99 Delivered @ PLE or this
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/689521

    • this deal is now expired so, fractal design wins by default

      • I already bought the Lian Li?

    • The Lancool is a great case, but I believe the S2 is significantly larger. Gives a bit more room for airflow and cables.

Here's a good writeup. Appears it's the opposite Lan is larger. I've got a Lan and it's been great.

You accidentally linked the Meshify C, whereas this deal is for the Meshify s2.

          Meshify C:
          Case dimensions (LxWxH)
          395 x 212 x 440 mm

          Meshify S2:
          Case dimensions (LxWxH)
          538 x 233 x 465 mm

  • Really nice case to build with. Still going strong

Used for some time, great air flow with 3x 140 fans.
Enough space for AIOs or Noctua Air coolers. Just great case.

(Im using NZXT H510 Flow case now ;) )

    • +1

I have a H510 flow on the way for my build! I know the airflow is generally middle of the pack compared to the more flow-oriented cases from Lancool, Phanteks etc but it just looks much cleaner and less ‘gamer’.

How did you find it to build in, and how are you finding it re:airflow/temps?

      • +2

cpu temps are ok. 5900x with NH-U12A cooler, on Fractal Meshify S2 case it was about 35 on idle,
and its 40 on idle with H510 Flow case. so its not bad at all, when you compare the size of the case.

I wanted to put the case on my desk, as desktop not deskdown, but Meshify S2 was just so big for that so I bought Flow case and loving it for the size.
It looks better in my opinion.

For building, this H510 Flow is compact mid size case so if you have RGB hubs, Sleeved cables for 24pin/GPU it might be hard to put everything in the case.
It was bit hard for me to close the back cover.

For Meshify S2 case, this is made for builders, whatever you put in, it still have plenty of spaces. 2 USB 3.0 ports on front panel is a bonus.
I had 7 Noctua NF A12x25 case fans and it was just awesome.

For H510 Flow case, the tempered glass is bit tinted which looks even better for your RGB stuffs.
This case looks even better if you use AIO, not air cooler.
oh mate I miss so much for the deal last weekend (Afterpay deals). NZXT Kraken Z63 was $240 with code. damn it. I missed it..

        • +1

Awesome, thanks for the detailed reply mate! Yeah I went all out and got myself a brand new build with those sales (am currently running a HD7870 / FX4100..) - 5600x/3070ti and all the good stuff, so it should be a massive step up.

    • First I am hearing about the "Flow" version. Makes sense though.

I have the regular version and it's pretty terrible for airflow - especially with latest gen GPUs that throw a lot of hot air around.

At the time I couldn't get a meshify but if I could go back I would have waited and gotten it (or a LianLi)

      • I just swapped to meshify s2 case now. Had some trouble with Flow case as the door (back) couldn't be shut properly as I have some RgB hubs like that haha
I'm now thinking about getting lian li air mini… hmm..

        • No idea what s2 is but meshify C good

  • +1

I just want some sale for ITX cases

    • I feel like there's a decent amount of NR200 sales

      • That looks too generic for me, lol. I want the kinds of A4/ sandwich style bro

        • Fair enough. Might be worth looking on AliExpress for clones.

      • +1

Even without the NR200 sales, it feels like the default ITX case since every other popular case seems to be 2x the price

  • White no sale :(

  • +1

It's a great case, did a fresh build in mine early last year. Then replaced a few items about 4 months ago. Ended up putting 3 Arctic P14's in the front for intake, 1 as a rear exhaust. Plus a 360mm top mounted AIO, also exhaust. The 360 is a tight fit top mounted, but the case has multiple mounting rows up top, which gives you some valuable clearance space as you can set it up closer to the glass and away from RAM and PCB.

My GPU stays very cool in this case. It's solidly built, no annoying rattling noises. It's also just not as audibly loud as my previous Phanteks P600S case. Easy to keep clean. No regrets.

Nice case - safety glass too as I found out playing golf indoors.

  • Fantastic case and great price! Great airflow, decent ports, lots of drive mounting options, and dust filters all round.

  • Worst thing about this case is that there's no easy way to clean the foam filter on the front panel. You have to take off the front panel and unbend the metal grates holding the foam in place to clean it.

  • Be aware, if you install the HDD cage you won't fit 280mm radiators on the top. The additional bits blocks access.

    • the hdd cages can be slid and positioned if you take apart everything

      • No, they can't. Not when you have the 9 - 10 hdd option there.

        • oh are you talking about the hd sleds?

  • wish they'd redo the mini

    nothing beats matx

  • If I wasn't already happy with my 5000D I would've gotten this. Great deal.

  • Looks like a great case, but it's clearly designed around using a 360mm AIO on the top. Won't be that great for air cooling as a lot of cool air under a positive pressure setup will exit via the top before reaching the CPU/GPU.
Edit: GN has a review. CPU temps are actually very good, whereas GPU is not great.

  • Fractal Design ftw! I run a Define Mini C at the moment and I'm going to get a Meshify 2 XL soon.

  • How to cover up that side transparent panel?

  • $107 shipping to my capital city location. Lan cool II was free shipping. I do like this case but it doesn't come with fans and is expensive.

  • Besides price - this or fractal torrent? I have an R6 but feels choked with the front blocked off. And it looks weird with the door open/removed 🤣. I got a custom loop, 280 and 360 rad if that sways thoughts.

    • You'd have to take out two front fans on the torrent to accommodate a raditator, but then if you don't care about money, the torrent has a triple bottom fan so probably better airflow.

Most would go the s2 in your shoes but torrent could be better at a much higher price.

  • Lian Li Lancool II Mesh for me! Great case; easy to work with…looks terrific too! Love it so much I bought a second…

  • I got a meshify C, tempered dark glass, awesome cases. Running quiet and cool with all be quiet fans a Dark Rock Pro 4, 2x 140mm intakes on the front and 1x small top and rear

  • It's a huge case, I modded mine to fit one ATX and one ITX PC, still managed good temp with both PCs running at full load.
It can fit lots of stuff, but is u are just after a basic build, it's too big.

    • I would say it's a normal sized case, i always buy micro ATX boards anyway (Mortar max) but doubt it would even fit a long 3 fan GPU, or it would be close.

Depends what kind of build, mini itx would be cool bit limits what U can put in and usually hot or bad designs

      • Not sure you got what I meant, it is so big, it can fit a ATX and a ITX simotaniously side by side. It can fit a four fan GPU plus a front mount AIO if you can find one.

        • Ok
Depends what you are used to and like.
My cooler takes up the bulk of the space above the gfx card

  • waiting on an r7 deal

  • price reduced to $139 at Scorptec

  • You're joking, i just bought this exact case 3 days ago for $250 at umart because i wasn't expect a deal to drop anytime soon..

    • +1

Should buy another one and take back with the receipt if umart reduces it.

Paid$199 back a year ago or so and claimed a 28 degrees Price protection for $169.. under $150 good

    • +1

I already have two of them and I still want a third one! Such a good case

    • +1

If it's unopened Umart have 30 day returns.

  • FYI this case is enormous AF, the only reason why I didn't get it when i was looking a few months ago
    Does look sexy to ngl

    • Define enormous
      My old case was bigger
      Get an nzxt mini

      • +1

If you can fit a 360 AIO on the top, its huge

        • Do it

        • Oh right , so reckon can fit a 3 fan GPU in?

  • Looks same as my Meshify 2 Compact. But bigger
