I loved this game but it has been trashed more then Paris Hilton

It is literally 22 years old and the orginal version with all the non licenced stuff was better

    • As a huge fan of the originals, I think the Enhanced Editions are significantly better in almost every way and have replayed them far too much since they came out. Though I don't know if this game really suits mobile so well, and some of the new companions of the enhanced editions aren't including for free in the mobile releases and has to be paid for as extra DLC.

      • no Elvis posters everywhere…..no deal

Geez, no one is allowed an opposing opinion these days. Why down vote opinions that are based on experience? Personally, I like contradictory views - this is how you learn.

      • That opinion is allowed. It just seems to be not popular and that's fine.

Polarised society of idiots. I kind of blame the education system it is 'vastly' pro left and thus teaches people to think 'left is good and right is bad'

when in reality both have merits and they are just a different side of the same coin.

I also think the standard of educators and journalist in this country need to been improved we seem to accept it is ok to become a 'teacher' when you have an Atar score of 51….

teachers crap on about poor pay but they are the highest paid teachers in the world and our education system is not even in the top ten…so it isnt about money

Interesting we have this conversation on a game where opinion and choice makes all the difference to the plot.

@Butt Scratcher: just sus the downvotes im getting for saying the truth. Kind of tells the whole story people cant handle an opinion they 'dont agree' with becuz they cant see the world outside of there own opinion.

the remake plays better but the original game before they removed so much now copy right content was better imo

One of the best cRPGs ever, though not sure how it would play on mobile

Computer Role Playing Game. It's generally used for isometric party RPGs like Baldur's Gate, Pillars of Eternity, and Pathfinder Kingmaker. Games like Dragon Age and Mass Effect kind of are as well (and are from the same creators), but increasingly moved away from the isometric strategic aspect and so it became fuzzy how to classify them.

Don't buy it if you are planning on using a phone. Everything is far too small. It's a fair bit of effort on a 10" tablet, it's useless on a phone.

Loved it on pc way back when, utterly pointless on my s20 plus.

Could always dock it to your PC via Samsung Dex and play it full screen on a monitor/PC.

      • +3

Or you could just get it on your PC

        • +1

Well he has obviously already purchased it if he is saying "it's a fair bit of effort on a tablet" and "pointless on my s20+".

So I'm just providing him a helpful/workable solution for his current predicament, unless he wants to buy it again for PC for $15-$75?

Playing on a mobile doesn't do it justice, mainly because the controls are too annoying/inappropriate.

They did a good job porting this, but it is inherently poorer on a mobile. As a huge baldurs gate 2 fan I bought it a while ago but quickly realised this.

One of the best ever games just not on a mobile.

  • Plays well on my Chromebook

  • I got it installed on my tab s7+

    Looks alright.

For anyone wanting larger UI / Text, you can try using the Pocket-play UI++ mod.
