Alldocube kPad Tablet (10.4" 2K, Android 11, 4GB/64GB, 4G B28) US$113.89 (~A$152.75) Delivered @ ALLDOCUBE Flagship AliExpress

AhmedGet6M

This should be the final Android tablet deal I'll be posting from the AliExpress Sale! This popular tablet 2 weeks ago is now even cheaper. If you're after an Android tablet on a budget that's suitable for general use, light gaming or for the kids then this is the best cheapest tablet you can get.

Featuring stock Android 11 with Google Play, 10.4" 2000x1200 IPS display, 4GB RAM, 64GB Storage (microSD support), UNISOC T610 Octa-Core CPU, 6000mAh battery, Dual SIM 4G LTE with B28, 5MP Front/Rear Camera, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, dual speakers and USB-C.

For reviews I recommend ETA Prime's video that shows it in action. The ROM performance is smooth, the display looks good and it handles modern and emulated games quite well for the price. The only real downsides in my opinion is the lack of Widevine L1 DRM for Amazon/Netflix HD and it won't get updates past Android 11.

    <snip>

  • The poor mans iPlay 20 Pro

  • I am after a few tablets to control a smart home. Currently using a bunch of nest hubs but they are limited in functionality and I'm looking to build an interface based around home assistant.

These are probably overkill still, but I'm worried about buying something to cheap that will be too laggy. Does anyone have any reccomendations?

Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 WiFi 64GB. You just missed it for $194 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/690736

      • +1

Thank you for pointing that one out. I should have probably been clearer (no pun intended to OP lol) that I am looking to spend less than the $150ish for this tablet. Say around $100ea as I wanted to buy a few…

        • +5

Not sure that's the way to go. $100 Chinese tablets are aesthetically unpleasant and poorly built (source: I regretfully own a couple)

      https://www.harveynorman.com.au/lenovo-tab-m7-3rd-gen-7-inch…

Further down the page. Unfortunately you can't get $30 back, but Lenovo are a decent brand, they're in store, and will do that job nicely.

      • Thank you, had I not just bought 2x kPads I would have probably tried those Lenovos first.

Perhaps I could put a Lenovo in the guest bedroom restricted functionality (no alarm control or lighting control for the whole house)

  • Thanks OP bought a second tablet for my 4 year old too so they don't fight over the Lenovo P11 i bought yesterday for my 7 year old . Now I'll have to hunt for a case and tempered Glass

    • +1

3rd bundle on the page has case+tempered glass

  • All of the given $6 codes, including all of the ones from the original post come up as redeemed. Am I doing something wrong?

    • Same for me, all redeemed unfortunately.
      I'm getting $164.21

  • My previous order apparently just left the country.

My Alldocube 40H is a rocket ship, zero lag on anything but does have 8gb RAM. Bang for buck you can't go wrong at this price point.

    https://www.alldocube.com/en/products/kpad/

    Cheaper at Banggood.
    https://au.banggood.com/Alldocube-KPad-UNISOC-T610-Octa-Core…

    • $134.99 USD at Banggood.

    • Says 4gb of ram and the price is higher than the one posted here….

  • Can anyone recommend a case for this? Or even a case and Bluetooth keyboard combo?

    • It's included in bundle 4.

      • +1

my bad, i should have mentioned that I've already got it from the previous sale. but i short-sightedly didn't buy the package.

        hence the question :-)

        • Did you get it delivered yet?

          • @ShouldIBuyIt: Typing on it to reply now 🙂

            • @shakoo: Nice! How long did it take? I ordered 23/03

              • +1

@ShouldIBuyIt: Ordered on 21/3, got it yesterday. Just setting it up today and am very impressed for the price

                • @shakoo: Would love to hear more about what you think of it. I realise it's a cheap tablet but still keen to hear about the build quality, feel, and speed. Cheers mate!

                  • @whitey1212: The build quality is decent enough, but it occasionally emits a soft click close to the Sim/memory card tray when changing my grip on it. It has some heft to it so you'd be reminded soon enough that it's a solid 10 incher

It responds well and played a 5gig mkv file over 5ghz wifi with no issues using vlc. The screen is nice, the speakers are nothing to write home about but do the job.

The only time I saw it have a go-slow was in TikTok when
it loaded up the animated thumbnails for a channel.

Overall, very happy with the purchase. I don't play any resource intensive games but I'm thinking of installing Baldur's Gate this weekend for old times sake.

                    • +2

@shakoo: Ah thank you so much for the detailed response! It seems to be pretty great value for ~$160. I don't know why they bothered putting a 4G radio inside but I guess the wholesale price for that sort of component is pretty negligible.

I just read that the rear of the tablet is metal, I actually wasn't expecting that. It looks like it weight just a tad more than an iPad Air but I'm assuming that means it's relatively solid.

One of my slight concerns was the lack of Widevine L1 but given the state of streaming these days with every studio having their own $15 service, I've mostly gone back to filling my Plex server.

You got yours in only 9 days, I can't wait to get it to try it out. Essentially it's just going to be a glorified ereader for newspapers and reddit on the couch.

  • damn so cheap, a75 cores so decent performance

  • Just bought one with case and screen protector, came to $164 with a combination of some discount on the page and the coupon listed above - AhmedGet6M.

I don't have particularly high hopes but I'm pretty excited for it to eventually arrive!

  • How do you avoid the VAT ($15.32 AUD) ?
I tried doing it in USD too, but it still applies a VAT.

    • You can't avoid GST.

      • Thanks Gerry!

      • Ah damn… Thanks

Since all the $6 coupon codes ran out… i just bought a few other little things to make the threshold (120) for the $13 coupons… so worked out in the end.

  • Very impressed with the packaging for shipping. Received today after ordering on the 26th of March. Very snappy, happy so far.

    • Ahh thank you for the update! According to Aliexpress tracking, mine arrived at Sydney Airport this morning and I can't wait for it to arrive. I want to play haha.
I'm assuming it'll be a Monday or Tuesday arrival now that it's the weekend. Ordered on 31 March.

      • Ordered on 23/03, received on Monday 04/04.
        ETA was 30/04.
Quite impressed with delivery too, and the tablet.
Got the bundle with case. I wish it would detect when I flip the case open.

        • +2

I find the volume buttons to be hard to press with the case too.

  • Hello, I received mine from the last deal and I just want to make some quick opinions.

The tablet is great. The screen is unfortunately not bright enough for Australian sun shine, but it's good otherwise. I do notice the T618 struggles in some day to day task, even see small stutters as I type this comment. But it's perfectly functional. Edit: One big thing is that no matter whatever spec sites tells you, this thing doesn't have a headphone jack.

However, don't buy the kit. If you're really strapped, sure, it's functional, but another 20 will get you a case with a keyboard attached. This kit's case's lid uses a cardboard/foam like material, and while it can act as a stand, it won't last the elementst for long. The keyboard is functional, but flimsy and poorly designed. The keys lacks resistance, so it sometimes does accidental double letters, or I'll sometimes miss a double letter. Most importantly though, the lock screen button is on top of the backspace button. While both of these points can be overcomed in a matter of an hour, it still frustrates me once a while.
