This is a killer deal, surprised it does not have more votes! I can't resist this, want PD charger for X1 Carbon but do not need.

  • Just got it, let's see how we go!
I have been interested to try this charger for a while.

  • could also add an extra 66W 3-Port GaN Charger + 100W PD Cable for another $35.99 (total for all is $79.97)

    • Isn’t $35.99 just the regular price that gets posted here from time to time ?

  • How safe are these to be used with iPhone 13 pro regarding battery life?

    • +5

A 13 Pro will only ask to charge at 27W max regardless of how many more watts this adapter can provide.

I don't use an iPhone, but I've been charging my 12.9" iPad Pro daily with a 30W Apple charger (comes with 18W charger in the box) and it has 97% battery health after about 200 cycles

Have a look at this Youtube video from Marques Brownlee. It will give you a principal of battery life when charging with big USB charger.

      • tyvm, I actually watched this yesterday lmao

Keep seeing deals for this form-factor but I'm really after one that uses a standard 'figure-8' power cable from the wall outlet, rather than plugging in directly to the outlet like this one - anybody got any pointers?

I just find it more convenient to plug in a narrow cable to some sockets with restricted access, plus being able to use standardised cables when travelling overseas rather than the customised interchangeable plug heads on this design.

I've been using this one for awhile and it's been very good

        I agree

      • Thanks - will keep an eye out for it

Only issue with this xiaomi model is no superfast charging on Samsung.

          • @hypie: Dang that sucks, I bought the rav power one linked below and it doesn't have super fast charging for Samsung aswell. Seems both don't have PPS protocol which Samsung uses

Or maybe https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/687656 (this one is only 45W though).

I have the Anker GaN one which I like (PowerPort Atom III Slim) - but it isn't cheap - and is "only" 45W on the USB-C port (65W total) (same as this Heymix one). One downside for me is that it "only" has one USB-C PD port and 3 x USB-A ports (most of the previous ones I've had have had 1 USB-C and 4 x USB-A ports). The new GaN one however is smaller/lighter than the others

  • Awesome deal, thank you.

  • Will this support a Macbook Pro 16inch M1 Pro?

    • +1

My brick with Pro has 140w mentioned so this charger can work but will be slow to charge.

    • I have the Minix Neo P3 which is basically the same and it charges my non-M1 (ie more power hungry) MBP 16" just fine.

  • +3

I bought one of these recently and the light on it is really bright. If you plan to use this to charge you phone overnight in the bedroom you'll want to put some tape over the light. Why does it need a light on it?

    • +4

Don't you know? Extra lights = extra speed. That's why all the pros have RGB lights in their computers!

  • Is someone able to recommend some decent cords, for the 20W Dual Port PD 3.0?

    • Following for PD usb cords. Can only find Ugreen PD 100W USB - C to USB - C but $20 for 2 on amazon prime.

    • +1

This seems to be the cheapest/best quality. $10 a pop.

      https://www.amazon.com.au/UGREEN-Charging-Compatible-Mateboo…

      • So a 100w cable is still useful with the 20w device?

        • Yeah indeed, I use them for my tablets and stuff. Have the bonus of using it with my X1 Carbon when needed. No Need if you can find a 20W cheaper though!

    • +1

      I bought this for $9.59

  • So can we only get one of these?

  • +1

I had bought 3 pack Heymix usb charger from this post.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/690964
Received my order yesterday and found only 2 chargers instead of 3. When I bought the chargers they called themselves as SAA selection, now HEYMIX professional. Very dodgy seller!!!!

    • +3

Just ask for another one? Sounds like a simple mistake.

  • Where can we get an extension cord, I don't think it has been included with the charger…

    1. Check 20% off voucher

Mine's coming up as $55.98 with the coupons applied :-|

    • Yeah 20% off is not showing for me either

  • I get added both 20% and 50% coupons, but I get:
    Order Summary
    Items: $79.98
    Delivery: $5.99
    Total: $85.97
    Promotion(s) Applied: -$29.99
    Order Total: $55.98

Cart shows 20W is $7.98 and 66W is $48.00… doesn't seem to match up?

    • Same here. Initial price might be pricing error?

      • yeah, perhaps the pricing on the white one was similar to the black version, which is currently $50.99 vs $55.99?
except the black version doesn't come with the 100W PD cable it seems.

    • was getting that too

  • Where is the option to apply 20% on the first page of this deal?

  • Be sure to test the 20w charger in charging the ipad via usc c. The pair that I bought on the recent deal both doesn't charge my ipad, it fluctuates, doing on and off charge 2x per sec.

So test your chargers all ports especially the usb c
The usb A port works fine.

    Returning mine now

    • And the thing is, I bought 2 and both has the same issue with USB c charging my ipad.

Why didn't you just edit you comment instead of replying with another comment to your comment justifying your comment?

        Can you please comment?

      • +1

I had the same issue with one of my Kmart USB C to lightening cable, so bought some new Anker cables and doesn't occur.

        • I've tried 5 different cables from different manufacturers. The same issue. I also tried the cables on other chargers I have and no issues. So the issue is isolated on the chargers.

  • I'm almost considering returning my 20w PD. Showing 2 hours to charge my note 10+ with all my cables. Doesn't display display fast charge, just cable charging. I brought USB C to USB C 100w PD cables as well.

  • bought a Zyron 66W from Zyron Australia - this looks exactly like the Heymix, and even has the same product number P265B. However, the Zyron came in a presentation box, with 3 adapters - AU, EU, UK, so very useful if you travel.
And at the same price $38.99 delivered as the Heymix (which only came with the AU adapter)
