Bunnings and TotalTools have the sander skin only for $269 but this deal comes with a L-Boxx and tool insert to store the sander, battery(s) and a charger (battery and charger not included).

Extra <$20 for the L-Boxx is a pretty good deal. The L-Boxx purchased separately would be ~$80 and you'd have to try and find the insert.

Not a deal for everyone, but if you're invested in the Bosch ecosystem like I am you might find it useful.

The deal is from Amazon UK but it took me less than a week for it to deliver

Really wish the multitool will come on sale soon.

    • $288 yesterday. is that a good price?

      • Ooh, I wasn't able to find it when I looked then. It's now $264. The regular price in Aus is $350. I call that a bargain

        • i have been considering buying a multitool myself. not sure if i should go with the 'most popular' bosch, or a slightly cheaper ryobi.

          • @aec: Do you have power tools already?

Bosch blue is far better than Ryobi, but they're more expensive and there are less options available, particularly for outdoor and gardening - which IMO generally makes Ryobi the better choice for weekend warriors and DIY.

  • Only issue would be warranty? Bosch 18v here come with 5 yrs. I'd imagine claiming that from UK would be a lot more difficult. EDIT: having said that, I've not had single issue with any of my 10 or so Bosch Blue in 5-10 years.

My Bosch blue all going strong after 10 years too.
I was half waiting for them to die so I could get some new toys but they seem indestructible for common/casual household use

  • The US version is $191 without the lboxx

However it is nice to have storage for the tool and the accompanying insert.

The us version was down to around 181 a couple weeks ago. Lbox for 100 dollars not worth it

  • What's the normal price?
