        Got an email saying it’s being reviewed and processed.

    Can anyone please help me with the delivery time frame on these?

    Moving house so thinking of posting it straight to the new place.

    • It is via DHL. If it is in stock. Then it should be delivered in one day in Sydney, two days in other metropolitan cities.

  • I seem to be stuck in a loop with email verification. It sends the verification email but when I click on the link, it sends me back to the verification email page asking me to input my email address again to resend for verification.

          Finally got through and they could not tell me why my order was cancelled. Had to place another order and consultant said they still have stock so totally now crossing fingers…

            @funkybits: Did you get the initial confirmation email?

      • Sorry mate if I got you worried as they said they had stock when I called and could not say why my first order cancelled. Sony said could have been bank related but I call BS as I called my bank first and they said all was good from the bank end, but could see that Sony had initiated a trans cancelation. Fingers crossed for us both!

    I purchased the A90J 65", pretty excited cos its my first OLED. What sound bar would you recommend using with the TV? Is the built in speakers already good enough? Thoughts?

      I might be getting Sonos arc system. It has pretty good reviews and hassle free setup process.

      On a side note, did you get any confirmation email when ordering?

        Yes I did receive the online confirmation with an order number, however I got an email saying the following:

        "We're currently processing your order so keep an eye out for an email or SMS from us updating your order status.

        We'll also send out information about delivery and your invoice soon. You can also track your order status from your account at any time."

    • While Samsung support is terrible, I have the Samsung 950a soundbar which has been as low as just over a grand and I'm genuinely impressed with the sound, even for music and it wasn't the disappointment I was expecting after being a dedicated HT receiver and speaker man for a long time! . It's half the cost of a Sonos arc with sub. Reviews on the Sony soundbars are a bit meh and with eArc I reckon there's little benefit in staying with Sony other than matching badges

      • The inbuilt TV speaker can be used as a centre speaker with a few selected sony soundbars.

    Registered using my son's primary edu email and verified the account a couple times but don't see the discounted prices. Anyone knows why?

    Tried 3 edu accounts, worked on the 3rd. Seems to depend on what is allowed through by the emails admin. Sony recommened to contact the administrator to have their email accepted, but that doesn't seem like a viable option.

    Has anyones order moved from Processing to Dispatched yet? When I checked Order tracking I've got Order Placed and Order Accepted ticked, so wondering when they'll start dispatching.. Can't wait for my 65A80J :D

        • what time did you initially order? I did yesterday and my support person said that its on backorder and expected to be back in stock by 13th of April. Which also made no sense because early this morning the A80J page said in stock and dispatched tomorrow if ordered now.

        • Can you pls provide the sequence of events if possible?
          I ordered last night around 2130 and immediately received an information mail saying "Thanks for Ordering"….Currently your order is being processed.

          Then after 5 hours received another mail saying "Unfortunately we are unable to process your order at this time".

          I placed another order again and praying it goes through. I hope many who has ordered will be in the same boat. If you could provide a bit more details on the timelines, it could put our minds at ease to some extent

            @vrb: I paid for the 77A80J using Paypal at 08:50pm (09:20pm AEST) on 04 Apr 2022. The money had been taken from the bank account immidiately.
            I got an email which is a confirmation of the order with the subject "Your Sony Online Confirmation: Order #AU00XXXXXX".
            I found out this morning from OzB comments that someohe had their order cancelled. I checked email but there was no cancellation email for me. Then just to be sure that the order is still valid and to have an idea on when the expected delivery is, I contacted Sony chat support and they just said "Upon checking, your order will be ready for shipment within the week. There's no ETA yet, but it will be within the week. Once it's ready for delivery, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking details."

    Sony sales support said my 77" A80J is on backorder. They ran out of stock and expecting restock 13th April. Ordered it at 6:20PM AEST

          OMG, what does that even mean. I feel so sad now I missed the party. What are they gonna do with the remaining stocks? That's really really silly. Stop the promotion for products being sold so fast?

              @BattleSpunk: No they are not. All of a sudden all TVs on their site became unavailable yesterday afternoon. There is no such coincidence in this universe. They deliberately stopped the promotion. Probably realised they could sell those TVs at a higher price with such great demand.

    I ordered the 55A80J and just received an email that "Your order is on its way!" and my order progressed from "Processing". Estimated delivery tomorrow.

    Just got my delivery email. I ordered at 4:40pm.

    Invoice has arrived, TV has been dispatched and due to arrive tomorrow! Which meant I actually had to tell my partner…long story short the gaming TV I thought I was buying is now going in the lounge room 🥺😂
