Hope this isn’t going to be too controversial.

From the NSW government website

Every child aged 5 to 11 who gets a COVID-19 vaccine at the Sydney Olympic Park Vaccination Centre between 1 – 18 April 2022 will receive a free children’s ticket to the Sydney Royal Easter Show for use at any time during the show (8 – 19 April, subject to capacity).

Consent is required from a parent or guardian at booking and at the appointment. If the parent or guardian is unable to attend the appointment, a nominated accompanying adult can be identified during the booking process.

    Having read through most of the comments, I am actually happy that there are quite a few speaking out against this madness, but also quite sad that there are still many more who are just blindingly following the 'health advice'.

    There is nothing wrong with questioning things, that's how science evolves, from questions.

    The lack of open dialog is my biggest concern.

      Exactly my point I have tried to raise here.

      No on talks about this, how people are treated when you even bring this up. You loose friends and potentially family connections because you "must be making it up" or "its not that bad" or my fav "you'll be fine, most people recovery and if it was that bad the professionals would step in to tell us".

      Thank you for sharing, please continue to do so to shed light on this injustice.

    Never in history have people been told to get 4 or even 5 vaccines in the space of 12 months for a virus that has a 99% plus survival rate. Even if you've been infected previously!! Yet, the vaccine does not prevent you from catching our spreading it.

People like Alderson believe the government is 100% right, even if Victoria is following its own rules lol, people like them are the problem. They allow our government to get away with everything and have a state of emergency when you can have 100,000 people at the MCG. Then extend pandemic laws because of the serious nature of COVID. You would have to be absolutely braindead to not see something is wrong right there. Absolutely braindead!

          I used to think the government was the problem, no, after the pandemic, it was clear, people are. Everything that has happened, braindead, sheep allowed it to happen.

        Lol, anti science… I have a science degree and I work as a scientist. No, not in medical science, but being a scientist in ANY field requires you to analyse and interpret data to determine what it all means. I've looked at the data from how much of a risk covid poses, to how many side effects are coming out of the vax, and have come to the conclusion that giving this injection to a 5-11 year old child is total insanity. They do not need it. It does more harm than good.

    A free ticket isn't worth the risk it puts them at. I've had chest pains since taking the jab and doctors claim it's coincidental.. Seems like many are not reported and healthy younger people like myself seem to have more risk by taking these jabs compared to just getting covid and getting over it. Don't spread the risk to the children too, that should be illegal. This isn't a deal as it might end up costing them far more than the parents ever bargained for.

        Unexplained chest pains aren't that uncommon. The majority of the population have been vaccinated. Some people will have medical issues after the vaccination completely unrelated to the vaccine. There are people online blaming their MS or Diabetes diagnosis on the vaccine.

        I can see why metro would think his condition is caused by the vaccine, but the doctors that he has seen is probably better informed. Not being judgmental, I would probably feel the same. I have a persistent headache that started just before my vac. If that started slightly later I would also be blaming the vac. I hope Metro has something like GERD and is able to get better soon.

Covid didn't even kill 1% more died from cancer and ar accidents, more died from the flu in 2018, but o one pushed a vaccine or lockdown then. So many dropping from heart issues, soccer pro's falling on the field from inflamed hearts, politicians dropping, new media now pushing "get your heart checked" Shane Warne a vaccine advocate "died witha heavy heart" the SMH said. He wasn't in Thailand having a holiday or doing some skinny diet, he was their for specialist treatment because he had heart issues. I mean what is it gonna take people to wake up and stop beleiving everything your fed? Now people want to push this crap on their children after all the new data? I speak as someone thats been a pin cussion for vaccines my entire life by choice when I fly to certain countries or not my choice as a child. People die from the flu every year, in fact, actual fact, more people died in 2018 FROM the flu not "with" the flu than anyone has died in the past two years from a DIRECT result of covid in Australia. This is from our own governmnets ABS data. What more proof do you need that covid is BS as is the vaccine. Even more people died from cancer and car accidents, covid made up 0.95% of total deaths and those deaths were "DIED WITH COVID" not from it and had very serious underlying issues meaning they were dead with or without covids help.

                How much proof do you need? Go read it, it's there for everyone to see. There's no hiding from or sugar coating facts anymore with a false narative because the official data is out.

        You know there's a financial incentive to have a death recorded as a covid death? Hospitals/nursing homes/etc get government funding for every covid death they have.

              And what is the the reason to now include pneumonia cases in these numbers when trying to show how COVID is just like the flu?

              Not all pneumonia is virus related, hence not all cases are considered contagious, so unsure why it should be grouped as an entire number in a cases comparison.
              (as I thought the general COVID downplaying comparison line was that COVID is just the flu)
              Could probably add in some other unrelated respiratory illnesses if you wanted to just boost the numbers

              @pipe: apart from the significant reduction in human to human contact due to lockdowns/restrictions, an increased awareness and focus on personal hygiene and social distancing, and that flu seasons from year to year are not linearly comparable (eg 2017 was a significant flu season, 2018 was not)

              Apparently not, as while there are some decent posters here on the anti-vaccine/vaccine hesitancy side, who have actual decent understanding of the science and apply a quality argument to their point of view…

              There's also posts such as the one you made,which would fit will in any anti Vax WhatsApp group.
              Groups where users have little to no ability to read actual research papers (hence why they link to bitchute videos and poorly written opinion or summary articles), and apply little to no actual effort into verifying the legitimacy of the information or apply critical thinking as to how valid the data may actually be..

    It's an incentive to extend clinical trials on children. Disgusting.

    TGA website site clearly states the following:
    "the large-scale clinical trials that will provide evidence of safety and effectiveness are still progressing and these results will be provided to the TGA as they become available."
    "the timeframe for the evaluation of each vaccine will ultimately depend on when the complete data package is provided by sponsors. We have not yet received a full data package from any company."

    Sadly, even short term safety and efficacy data has been proven incorrect. We already know that the vaccines do not protect from catching the virus, from spreading it, from making you seriously ill and from dying. We also already know about potential severe short term adverse effects and deaths caused by the jabs.
    And we are yet to know about the long term effects.

    In addition, according to TGA "Evidence of longer term efficacy and safety from ongoing clinical trials and vaccination IN THE COMMUNITY continues to be gathered and assessed."
    Do you really want your children to become the participants of these trials?

      Parents obviously don't care about their children, why else would they do it? If they did, it's 99% because of propaganda, being uneducated and instilling the fear in them for the last 2 years. Any parent capable of critical thinking would NEVER subject their children to this gene-therapy.

      The guys running the trials in America said it best; it went like, if we don't test on children, then how would we know? We thank them for their "sacrifice". Boils my blood!

    Given the upside to vaccinating healthy children against COVID appears negligible at best, and the downside (especially long term) is largely unknown, it seems to me we shouldn’t be encouraging these vaccinations at this point.

    P.s having an opinion that disagrees with the majority on ozwhirlpool must be considered more wrong because people are made to explain their negative votes, with a comment, but people that upvote don't need to justify their stance. Mods removing neg votes where people have commented to support their neg vote but it obviously isn't to mods satisfaction and so removed.

    Since when does government have any concern for 'Health"?

    There is no need for children to have these vaccines. Shame on the powers that be that are allowing children, and adults alike, to be injected with non necessary, non long term tested emergency vaccines. I am dumb founded that people are accepting such down right sleazy incentives such as this.

    I am very sad that my brother like friend passed away with cerebral hemorrhage few days after get 3rd booster shot. I hate this covid and covid vaccine shit. who benefits the most with this Covid outbreak? I had to get fully vaccinated for working but I am not comfortable of getting a vaccine booster every 3 months or so. :(
