Perfect timing to download the app & enjoy some serious savings + up to 50% off dining offers currently!

Don't forget to add the code APP22 prior to confirming your first booking via the app (worth $20).
Then use code GRANDPRIX for another 1,000 Yums on your second booking (worth $20) - this code expires 07/04/2022

Perfect way to score 2,000 Yums for making two bookings - worth $50 off your next order!!

How to score even more Yums (total 3,000 Yums worth $70 of free food):
    1. Use a referral code first (via Desktop site) - new signup is 1,000 Yums (referrer gets 500 Yums)
    2. Then download & make 2nd booking via the app for 2,000 bonus Yums - code APP22 above
    3. Third booking with a short-term promo code e.g. GRANDPRIX as linked above

      Thanks for the hat-tip lol

    • I dont see the option to enter Referral code while trying to sign up using Desktop Site. What am I missing here?

  • What the fork?

Please remember that the maximum amount you can redeem per reservation is $50. So if you happen to earn $70 from the above steps, you need to have more than one reservation to use them.

    • Very true! $50 off one booking and $20 off next booking, in that case

Be great if ozbarg showed who neg voted comments like they do every other post… Can find out who works for dimmi.

  • I tried it and it doesn't seem to work. I don't think I booked my first booking on the app, and have only done two bookings. I know the second was done on the website. How can I tell if I did the first booking through the app, or through the website?

    • APP22 code is valid all year.
If it does not work on your first app booking - chances are you have already made a previous booking via the app!

  • Just received this email 7 days after I made and completed my first booking placed using their web interface with a random referral code from OzBargain:

    Dear user,

We inform you that we have found that you have made improper use of our booking service, to accumulate loyalty points in your account.

In section 5 of our terms of use, which you can view at https://www.thefork.com/legal, we declare the following: Β«[Furthermore, failure by Users to comply with these Terms of Use (including failure to honour several reservations (no-shows), any abuse or fraudulent use of TheFork Site and/or Yums, or any behaviour prejudicial to the interests of La Fourchette may result in the deactivation of the User's account and/or the immediate deletion of all or part of the Yums stored in the loyalty space of the User's account on TheFork Site, without prior notice or compensation.]

Therefore, and in accordance with article 4.7 of Title 1 of our Terms of Use The Fork, we inform you that we have deactivated your TheFork account.

    Regards,

    Quality Team TheFork

Like, WTF? I only had 1000 yums from using the referral code so it's okay, not really feeling like a loss, but this service feels really scammy to me. Be ware if you plan to invest your time into this app.

    • Very strange. This happened to me once before when I tried to create a second account (so it was clearly against the terms) so I wonder if you had another account before (created on same device or IP). If you feel it’s a mistake nothing stops you from contacting their support team who can review and undo the deactivation?

  • Just booked Thx OP

  • real poor form from The Fork. pulled the rug just like that.

most restaurants have already stopped accepting bookings through Yums. in VIC, Meat & Wine Co was the only option till yesterday (inner burbs). Now they don't accept Yums either (once you make a booking - it doesn't work).
