  • Hi operating time on low and high setting?

Does the battery interchange with another brand/model?

    Thanks

Does the battery interchange with another brand/model?

      Not with any major brands

  • I’m going to buy one and put it straight in the garage and maybe use it twice a year

    • The battery will no longer charge for the second use. If it does then you will get around 60seconds use out of it… Basically a quick blow.

5 year warranty on the Ozito and 210 km/h air speed for $20 more fwiw

No brainer, get Ozito. Then you can use the battery for other tools!

    • And/or this Ozito $99 blower/trimmer kit deal for even more value

Can I ask a question? I'm a city boy, once we blew off those leaves, how do we collect it and throw into the bin?

how do we collect it and throw into the bin?

      You eat the leaves

You need a blower/vac unit. It has the two functions.

blow all the leaves towards a corner or a raised edge and scoop them up.

As crap as my experience with Ozito has been, Bunnings are great. They dont bother even checking - as long as you have your receipt pretty much instant refund.

Much better than chancing it on this no name stuff.

I picked up the Ozito blower and trimmer kit with 2A battery and charger for $99. Blower looks identical and does the job. Trimmer works but due to my whipper-snipper technique I lose the plastic tabs at an alarming rate. Still, a much better deal if you can get that for $99 again.

  • It would be useful if some of these no-name brands would be able to take more commonly available batteries.

E.G - the PowerG range that Autobarn used to sell takes Aldi batteries.

My advice to all such brands is to adopt a known battery format and stick with it.

  • How would this work for drying a ceramic coated car? Anyone tried it before?

    • For that application you want high airflow and fast air speed. This product has no quoted airflow but 120km/h air speed.
My Ego Power+ has 290km/h air speed and 900m3/h airflow. Which, will dry a car with paint protection car very quickly - one Passover, maybe 2 minutes for a Corolla-sized car. (note, there’s a newer model than mine now).
The nozzle on the product offered here seems small, so I’d say the airflow would be low. It will dry your car. It may take a bit longer.
