I was looking for a decently specced, mid-range tablet that I can use for casual use: browsing, streaming and light productivity. Bing Lee seems to have the cheapest price. This model seems to be $699 everywhere else, including Lenovo's store. I found stock at Officeworks in Bayswater VIC and got them to price match Bing Lee's price and it got the price down to $569. Cheaper at the Lenovo Education Store ($483) if you have access.

Blurb from the Officeworks website:

As per OP note, on the Lenovo Edu store for $483.12 with pen using Coupon JUSTYOLKIN

    • Sorry! eCoupon not found. Try again?

  • Damn, if it could be used as a second monitor like the Yoga 13, I'd grab this straight away.. :(

You should check out an app called Superdisplay. Let's you use an Android device as a second monitor. Works really well for me!

      • Thanks for that! Ended up researching a bit last night and finding that the best program (albeit $10) was SuperDisplay. 😅 Still not the most ideal situation.

At this price I realised I could grab a Xiaomi Pad 5 (or even pro) with the 120hz screen and have either 4 or 8 speaker layout.

Although, I'm still thinking to sell my XP pen Artist 15.6 Pro and grab like some decent 13" tablet with 120hz and hopefully hdmi input, whether port or adapter.

The Yoga Tab 13 would be perfect in this category if it weren't still using 60hz panels.. :-(

  • This or the Samsung Tab S7 FE…
Yoga certainly wins in screen type and storage, but Samsung chipset is better and has more frequent updates.

    • My primary use case was streaming and browsing so I went with the better screen. S7 FE has lower storage and there is a known bug where you can't save offline videos from Netflix etc. to expandable storage (it saves it into the inbuilt storage as well). If you're into offline viewing you'll chew through the storage pretty fast. The other advantage was the Google Kids Space that lets you lock out a lot of features for when kids use it and it has heaps of stored books and content for kids that you can take on planes etc.

      • This is great feedback thankyou!
Do you have the Yoga now? If so how would you rate it's agility jumping to different apps, multiple chrome tabs (basic multitasking). Ò

        • I just ordered this Yoga as I am tired of waiting 1 month for Amazon to honour the $499 samsung s7 FE deal! Got it at $483 through Edu store.

Yeah I do. It's very snappy. Not as fast as flagship tablets obviously but does the job just fine. I've got about 7 tabs open right now with 4 apps running in the background and it hasn't skipped a beat.
