  • Mine was heading to QLD before being transferred.

    Transferred
GRANVILLE NSW Wed 18 May, 7.08pm

In transit to next facility in BRISBANE QLD Wed 18 May, 1.00pm

Wonder if it’s something to do with the wrong names on the packages

    • I got the same transfer, however mine is actually in my name. I submitted a redirect just incase.

  • Got mine delivered to the front door today, wrong name as above. But I got an email notification of the parcel so it would have been mine.

  • Just got mine. Wrong name. Coke still wins for me.

  • samples arrived today

Everyone in our house picked the Coke.. but the Pepsi Max was short dated and had lost all its sweetness which didn't help.

Could not scan the QR code, tried every phone we have and nothing would read it.

So delivered in the wrong name, Max was short dated and the QR card wouldn't scan… nicely done promotion :D

  • Got mine in the morning, had wrong name. Probably got the 2nd batch because of the tiktok kid merch things

Edit: nana judy is a clothing brand not a tiktok group. Ignore previous

  • I received an email confirmation from Pepsi Max but didn’t receive a tracking notification from Aus Post

  • Besides the drinks unless they are different from store containers . Was there anything not consumable ?

  • +5

The Pepsi Max that I recieved tasted very flavourless and I could immediately distinguish which one was the Coke/Pepsi. The Coke came in a regular 250mL can while the Pepsi Max was a No Sugar 200mL can that was propped up with cardboard to match the height of the Coke in the cardboard holder. The Coke had an expiry date of March 2023 while the Pepsi had a best before date of 20th July 2022.

    • +8

Yes our Pepsi Max tasted nothing like longer dated ones we've had from stores. Pepsi did themselves a disservice with this promo…. unless the promotion was really run by Coke!

    • +3

Haha not sure why they find it a better idea to send a larger can of their competitor's product directly to your house.

  • +1

    Arrived today.

    Pepsi max = 200ml 2 month expiry

    Coca Cola = 250ml 1 year expiry

    absolutely no competition.

Cola has longer expiry, bigger can, and has sugar.
Pepsi max expires in 2 months and is worse than the Pepsi max in my fridge.

  • +2

Got mine today. Pepsi max had a very strange taste that I was not used to, and I preferred the coke even after blind tasting. Would've done themselves a favour if they did pepsi max vs coke zero perhaps

  • +2

Mine arrived today and I have to agree with the other OzBargainers. Pepsi tasted sh*t.

This campaign just gave me a stronger reason to choose coke.

  • Arrived yesterday, thanks OP.
Will be giving away to a friend who drinks this rot 🥹

  • One family member got their name but mine was someone else's name.
As others stated, expired Pepsi vs Coke. Are they serious? Seems like a stealth Coke promo. What a balls up.

  • A was teh obvious winner, pepsi max taste like ass. full fat coke vs pepsi max? come on..

  • +4

Mine finally shipped from NSW to WA … Nobody home, courier returning to sender lol.

Amazon have left $1500 of parcels outside my gate before, but these folks rightly deemed this expired Pepsi too valuable to leave unattended.

I feel dirty and ashamed I signed up for this.

  • Got mine today here in WA as well. I had it sent to a parcel locker, and I was actually expecting them not to send it there. As everyone else said, Pepsi is short-dated and just tastes wrong. Coke was 2023 and tasted fine. Baffling promotion.

  • +1

Still Not received mine yet but have gotten email saying it had been shipped out… weird as I live in the Sydney metro area

  • Haven't received mine yet… got shipping email but no tracking.

    • I only got a confirmation via shipping.

  • got tracking

  • +1

Finally got the tracking email from auspost.

I guess they (kinda) solved their name problem - It is addressed to “Pepsi Max Recipient”

    • Actually they still (profanity) it. Came addressed to someone else. Cheers Stephen D!

  • +1

    Mine arrived yesterday. Wrong name.
Pepsi Max dated June22. Coke dated 2023.
Pepsi Max half size can, coke larger can.
Really weird promotion. Definitely wouldn't have thought was by Pepsi, unless it wasn't all over the box. Coke wins this one

  • +1

    Mine says

    Sent by
    CONVERSION LIVE PTY LTD

    Delivery to
    Pepsi Max Recipient

Maybe they fixed it, and just put Pepsi max recipient because too hard to re sort the CSV

  • Just received mine today, Address and Phone number was correct, but incorrect name.

Not sure why they are testing Pepsi Max vs Regular (full sugar) Coca-cola.

  • Still haven't received mine… email received 10 days ago saying it's on the way. No email from auspost either.

    • You are not the only one.
I am in the same situation as you. :(

    • +3

Your not missing out on anything.

    • Same, Nothing yet.

  • +5

    Great promotion. $0.20 profit.

  • Got mine today. Wrong name, but correct mobile # on the package. Second can was coke classic, not coke zero. Was the goal to maximise the taste difference? Haha.

  • +1

haha just got a notification from auspost saying its being packed. i totally forgot about this

  • Finally got the auspost email too last night.

  • +2

    Gemma Smith, I got yours.

Either Pepsi are delusional or this was a masterful play by Coke. There is no way anyone preferred the Pepsi Max, it was brown carbonated water.

  • Just got mine. Haven’t opened it yet, straight in the fridge.

    • +1

20c cash back when you drink them and take to the cash for cans depot

      • +1

        Definitely not worth the time.
I’m all for a bargain, but I’m not that desperate to earn 20c

        • An extra 20c for those of us already collecting cans!

  • Well, just to be fair and honest:

I received today, June 3rd 2022, a package displaying: TAKE THE pepsi MAX TASTE CHALLENGE AT HOME

Arrived via Australia Post addressed to "Pepsi Max Recipient" :-]
    (no name, only address)

Haven't open the relatively small box just yet.
    Looking forward to.

    • Looking forward to.

Don't @LFO You will only be disappointed.

      Extremely disappointed!

  • Couldn't scan the qr code on the box. Anyone have a link.

    • Same.. tried every phone and iPad in the house and none would see it.

  • Received today

  • +2

Just got mine, lmao what were they thinking pitting Pepsi Max against a non-sugar-free Cola?

    • I got normal coke

      • +1

        …as in " a non-sugar-free Cola"

  • Tried mine, pepsi max sucked lol.

if it was coca cola regular, vs pepsi mango sugar free, the latter wouldve won atleast for me.

but pepsi max is just too plain

  • I usually buy Pepsi Max over Coke No Sugar due to the cost and generally preferring it - in this comparison the normal Coke bet Pepsi Max though, 1 month expiration did not help the Pepsi..

  • I did the blind test previously, but with similar products coke no sugar vs pepsi max, and liked pepsi max. This time pepsi max doesn't have any flavour at all, and very bland, both my wife and I chose coke via blind tests, and were very surprised that someone decided to do such a comparison of full taste (sugar) coke vs pepsi max

  • Finally did the "taste challenge".

On the first pour the smell/aroma of Coca-Cola seems a bit more lemony. More pleasant. Probably happy childhood memories kicked and so to distort facts.

First sip was from Pepsi Max. Wait 30 sec. Sip from Coca-Cola: Coca-Cola tastes sweeter. Kept rotating. Somehow both were similar then.

Second and last pour in a glass Coca-Cola was far more fizzy, Pepsi rather flat.
First sip was from Coca-Cola. Waited 30 sec. Sip from Pepsi: Pepsi tastes rather bland.

Then emptying both glasses randomly sipping from each and frankly, both tasted boring and very similar. As if the novelty of the first drink (taste) was gone and then all tested about the same.

I'm afraid (as Pepsi paid for all this) Coca-Cola classic wins the test challenge.
