7w LED Downlight Bulb Warm White or Cool White $12.50 $ 6w GU10 for $13.50

Hi

Our sister company Energysaver is having a special on our MR16 range - 7w Supreme MR16 downlight and GU10 downlights both made in taiwan. Having the diffuser, we ensure your light gets distributed evenly across the room, just like a halogen would. I am not going to crap you and say its a 50w replacement, but I will tell you it is more like a 45w replacement which makes it a worthwhile investment without compromising too much on the light output. We have tested these on a lot of electronic transformers but we cannot guarantee it will work on all. It works well on your old iron core transformers and if you need a transformer, check out our efficient 60w Anchorn transformer. These work well on all our LED range and consume 0.3w sitting on idle.

Our lights have our own C-Tick number for your added comfort so stay away from those cheap imports

      $13.95-$12.5 = $1??

      good maths

    • 10.4% discount… meh!

    JV, you've done it again!!

JV - then by our definitions your vote is revoked.

    • Oh Snap!

    • good call…

  • do you have a deal on E27 and e14 bulbs as well ?

    • The price of the bulbs are still very high so the margin is very low so I cant really do much on them. Email me and i will see what i can do

  • I'd like to ask a question - and I'm not trying to stir up a fight or anything, I'm genuinely interested in the product.

A standard 50W downlight bulb is ~950 lumens, while your website states that the LED is 420 lumens - I know that lumens is a logarithmical scale measurement (i.e. 4x the lumens = double the perceived light), but double is still a perceivable difference. I know a lot of it is on reflector design etc, but I'm just worried that (and a bit burned by!) it'll just go to the pile of other LED lights that has claimed the same thing (i.e. "about 45 watt light") and just not stood up to the test.

How much do you stand behind your product - I don't want to be out of pocket for another LED globe that just isn't good enough as a replacement!

    • they will never be bright enough if you ask me

    • Are you in sydney? More than happy for you to drop into the warehouse and pick one up to try and return it if you dont like it.

In saying so, I am saying its more like a 45w based on the feedback I have received from my customers but as stated below someone thinks its more like a 30w-35w. If you want a 50w replacement you really have to look for a cree mtg or mce chip. I do special orders for these and they sell for $35.00 a globe, but if you want value for money, then I stand by my product because you wont find a similar light for this price. Like yourself I have a box full of tested LED's and these do outperform the others.

  • I have four of these bulbs and in my opinion they are about equivalent to 30-35W bulbs. Good enough for my purposes but definitely not if you need a 50W

    • I replaced twentyfour 50w halogens with these (5 rooms and a hallway, which is my entire house) and I can't tell the difference in the amount of light. It definitely didn't drop by 30 to 40%! I think the 45W estimate is pretty accurate.
I went with the white option and I definitely prefer that hue to what I had with the halogens.
I've had them for about 6 months and I've not had a single light die on me (I used to lose around 1-2 halogens per month minimum).
I'm happy to vouch for them.

      • Then vote for the deal. I bought 4 of these and can confirm they are very good. would put them around 40-45W. definitely worth it and cheapest for the amount of light they put out

Would like to see one that matches the 50W for may be around $15-18

  • It doesn't look like any of your MR16s are dimmable (one type says no, the other two types don't say one way or the other); the fact that I have a house full of actec electronic transformers is annoying enough, but if I could replace globe & transformer for around $20, that would be great - if dimmable. Are any of your MR16 replacements dimmable?

  • How does the 6W Gu10 compare to a 13W CFL brightness wise?

    • I cant compare as I dont have the infrastructure setup, but people seem to like them.

  • +1

Also do your bulbs have Internet connectivity as they are described as
"Looking for a quality Taiwanese built LED Downlight that you can reply on ?"

Must be a small keyboard :)

    • heheh leyton01…thanks for the heads up. I was listing alot of products that day and have to utilise the copy button.
