  • Thanks! Was already planning on putting thru an order.

  • What is a TA?

    • +4

      A tight arse.

      • +1

In a way, we are all TA.

  • Darn, the day after I ordered!!

    • Can you cancel and re-purchase? I notice that iHerb is very slow processing the orders these days.

      • And very expensive

        • Yes, I used to buy a lot in one package shipped via DHL, now I have to split the large order into smaller orders and shipped via Australis Post for free, but slower than DHL of course.

          • @T-man: These days I always limit my order size and weight so that delivery by Australia Post is allowed. Not just because it’s free, but because of the security of my order on delivery. AustPost always honks, rings the doorbell, knocks on my door, and cards me for pickup at my local post office if nobody answers. Twice in the past, DHL has dropped my parcel insecurely at my front door without making any attempt to get my attention, begging for it to be stolen.

      • Can't do it, despite the experience others have described, my order was shipped about 90 minutes after placing it.

    • Me too, but I still got a 22% discount because the NEW22 and 22NEWAU codes were all over every page on iherb.

  • Damn I also just ordered last week, just enough for free AusPost shipping

Oops didn’t realise it had the affiliate thing.

This is good value, 6 facial products for $13.28

What does everyone usually get from here? I often purchase melatonin but wondering if there is anything else worthwhile

Yerba Mate is nice, it's a bitter tea that contains theobromine, which is like a weaker caffeine molecule with slightly different effects.

Magnesium is good for muscle pains and sleep. Avoid the oxide variant though, less bioavailable and has a laxative effect.

other than that just random skincare products lol, iHerb sells a lot of snake oil

Now that will require some research for individual goals and some good sifting through whether a supplement is actually effective or just marketing hype, and if one actually needs it.

      My recent orders have been:
      * Life Extension Super Omega-3 : aka fish oils. Many of the fish oils bought at brick and motors these days have poor ratios of the good stuff (EPA) and the bad stuff (Mercury). They also are likely oxide (gone-off, especially if found with clear packaging in a dumpster bin). From some cross-checking this brand seems to be fine.
      * California Vitamin D3 : I'll taken these sparingly on rainy days I don't go for a walk (not medical advice, consult doctor on vit-D levels)
      * L-Theanine : I take one with my morning black coffee. Reduces the come-down effect from coffee, allows less anxity with it (caffeine). Also has other benefits.
      * Amazing Grass Green Superfood : a greens powder taken on days i know my veggie count is low (I mix this with my oatmeal and choc protein whey)
      * Optimum Nutrition ZMA : great for improved recovery during sleep. Contains (imo) great forms of Zinc & Magnesium as well as B6 : together (in these forms aka not the supermarket forms) have provided me anectodical the only noticeable difference where 6 hour sleep will feel more like 7 & a half.
*Creatine : ignore the gym-benefits, this has long-term cognitive benefits

      • Melatonin
      • Vitamin D (5,000/10,000 IU) Max size here is 1,000 (without a presc.)
      • Psyllium caps (cheaper than local options, by a long stretch).
    • tryptophan, Vitamin D, Choline, (thorne research)

      • -1

wow Vitamin D so popular yet no health benefit unless its suggested by the dr.

        • +1

Its for my husband, his level is very low and he is recommended it by doctor and specialist.

    • I primarily purchase"

      Vitamin D 10,000 IU
      Melatonin
      NAC
      Biotin
      Senolytics
Essential Oils (much cheaper than here)
      Zinc Sunscreen

  • Technical question about “when using customer referral rewards codes for a discount on purchase.” Whenever possible, I like to use the referral code CFS789 because it supports a local registered charity with their fundraising. Only new customers using the code get a discount on their purchase, but as an existing iHerb customer, I do not get any discount - it just helps the charity with a small donation.
Can a Cashrewards representative please confirm if the terms are correct, or if they really should simply say “ when using customer referral rewards codes” without “for a discount on purchase.”

Is aunew22 included in eligible codes? 🤭

  • Is anyone getting charged a foreign transaction fee by ANZ when using your card on iHerb even when paying in AUD? Has happened a few times for me, and is probably not worth using my ANZ card if the Max bonus is only 2% more than the standard cashback rate

    • I usually get hit with international transaction fee on iHerb

      • +1

I use Amex card, as long as the transaction in AUD, they never charge fx fee.

        • Thanks, just used my Amex instead of my ANZ card and was not charged the 3% foreign transaction fee

  • Does this stack with 22NEW?

    • Cant see eligible codes anywhere. Does that mean it's not?

      • 22NEW is listed "22% off first order at iHerb".

  • Presuming it is GST exclusive, sweet spot is $125 spend to max out the 22% rebate of $25.

Pregnant and new mums, Nordic Naturals DHA is also on special at 10% off. Well worth researching the importance of quality DHA in gestation and infancy. Turned my little girl into a virtual sponge, despite her father's addiction to online bargain forums and being flat out comprehending how GST is calculated…

    • Max cashback cap of $25 at 20% with spend of US$93 (AU$125) Inc GST. Best pay with currency set to USD and use MasterCard with no XE fees, as iHerb rates are terrible at like 5%.

  • Paid with max to get 22% but only tracked at 20% not sure why

  • Thanks OP, got a heap of stuff cheaper than here. The $25 cap didn't apply to me, my cashback was $32 and it has gone through on CR website.

  • How long does it normally take to tack? Put a order through at 10pm last night but still nothing in cashrewards and it's just been shipped

    • Ditto. Ordered $125 around 10pm and nothing showing as tracked so far…
