I’ve bought two of these when on special around $185. Really happy with them, thanks for this deal, I’m adding another!

I’m having issues connecting mine, it’s always down, tried multiple fixes, useless

Best camera for HomeKit. No stupid 3rd party accounts, no "type your wifi password". Has HomeKit Secure Video. Number of cameras that can have Secure Video depends on your iCloud+ plan.
50 GB plan: Add a single camera.
200 GB plan: Add up to five cameras.
2 TB plan: Add an unlimited number of cameras.

How’s this compare to the Eufy T8400CW4 2k camera? I believe that can do homekit secure video as well and is half the price at the moment?

    • There's no 2 way audio on Eufy. I have them and they are Ok just nothing that feel or look special. So I am upgrading them to these Eve's. The Logitec is my favourite I have one already but Apple has that to themselves and good luck getting a deal like this with Apple.

      • That’s a good point, I did just read the two-way audio only works through the Eufy app, not homekit which is strange… I guess if that’s the main difference and not a deal breaker then Eufy is better at $76.50.

You don't want to use the Eufy app IMO . The privacy of Eufy has been compromised before, many complaints about people seeing cams footage from another house. That doesn't happen with Homekit.

        • No, Eufy is cheap trash, not Homekit compatible is many ways. They totally borked it trying to push you to their app. Proper Homekit device does not require manufacturer's app and is much more secure this way.

  • Thanks for this!
