coz I do not have time to deal with people who could not even afford to paid for the postage fee for free item.. and please do call australia post for postage fee. If you did have some place cheaper, please do tell me and i will set the postage fee in that price.. but please do remember that i need to sent the package with tracking number so I can provide paypal a proof that I am not a scammer seller.. Thanks..

        • I dont think its a matter of whether people can afford $10 for postage fee or not… I think some people here change/buy mobile phones more than they change underwear!
To me, its whether the item is worth the total price - including postage.
Free usually means no strings attached - postage fee is a string attached.

        • @Teecomp .. you just got my neg

Reason? This comment: "coz I do not have time to deal with people who could not even afford to paid for the postage fee for free item"

  • Guys, I am really sorry.. The update special price got some delay.. its fixed now.. sorry again…

  • $9.95 shipping @_@

    • Last time the mouse came in this: http://shop.auspost.com.au/shop/express-post/sku/0590098

So really, $9.95 shipping (plus only $2.50 for every additional item) is what the OP actually pays to ship the mouse. So really, you are getting a free mouse with fast shipping!

      • Your link disagrees with you. He'd be making about 0.90c on the first mouse, around $3.40 on two mice, $5.90 on three mice, assuming they'd all easily fit into the bag (knowing that bag size and the size of this flimsy generic 59g mouse, it should easily fit 3). If you go higher than that you could quite happily cram 10 or more mice in the 3kg bag. If someone ordered 10, for whatever reason, it's be around $20 for the mice.

It's a small amount, and that's normally fine. It's just the way he's gone about it people are upset about (note: it's not worrying me, I just don't think it's good value for a terrible quality mouse).

        • You both assume that he's paying the consumer price on these bags, and you're both ignoring the company's ability to obtain a refund of the GST portion of shipping.

Even going off Australia Post's "bulk deal" (one would expect businesses to be able to negotiate a better price), the bags would cost $8.60 each if Teecomp buys 100 or more. Take off GST, and shipping is $7.74. That means a gap of $2.21 per item between shipping charge and cost of the Australia Post bag.

And don't forget this is a loss leader, to get you to the website and publicise it.

      • I thought express post wasn't acceptable proof of delivery for PayPal seller protection?

@Teecomp. Yes, people who use Ozbargain are looking for bargains. They recognise that nothing is truly free. They are sick of companies that advertise things as "free" and then make a killing on the shipping.

If you come here and post an item that's "free", expect to get plenty of negativity when they go to your site and find it isn't really. You are a lot safer, and will receive better feedback, if you put the postage cost in clearly.

Sites such as Bexectech, which have cheap phones but charge $70+ for "delivery", have made the Ozbargain community very wary of "shipping" - state it up front or prepare for the flames.

I note that as I write this your "deal" has been up for over 14 hours, and still states "for Free + Shipping". From the Ozbargain Wiki: "If shipping is required, state the shipping cost to major Australian cities if this information is available; approximate range is ok if the exact cost is variable or not available. (Store representatives must provide this information - there should be no reason to hide this from potential customers.) At the least, state ”+Shipping”". When I look at your website, it states "For the shipping charges, it cost $9.95 for each item and for each additional item, we will charge extra $2.50 of the shipping charges". There is absolutely no reason for you not to state the shipping in the deal's heading.

In other words, expect more negative feedback. You have ignored the basic rules governing Ozbargain, and have not even put the price in the wall of text you've included about this "bargain". If this is the standard we can expect from Teecomp (I note that you have included shipping price in previous deals), then don't bother posting here.
