I dunno about this. Lowest on camelx3 doesn't mean best price. Looking at the sony education store only 2 weeks ago where you could get a 65" same model for $1499. Though that will be hard to beat any time soon.

if anyone is looking for a bigger one, you can get a 65" x90j for $1899 at costco

For now it's definitely to get the new X90K not x90j.
X90K is the LCD flagship now and the performance is as good as X95j.

    • How does it compare to the X90J?

        Much better than X90J.
        X90K>X95j>x90j

Where are you getting this info from?

    • can we actually buy the X90K yet? any pricing details?

  • Seems a pretty bad price for a 55" LED tv.

  • I've got this TV, causing me some networking headaches. When connected via Ethernet to orbi RBK50 it drops out the Ethernet ports on the router. When connected via WiFi it requires a reboot between standby as the wifi won't stay on. Hopefully a firmware update will solve issues. Also using TCL tv's running Google TV and have no issues with them.

    • I had the same issue with my 65" x90j, I updated it to the vrr firmware and it was still doing it, so I did a factory reset and set it up again, and it hasn't been doing it since, although when turning it on it does a full turn on most times, not the quick start like it used too, I prefer the 20 seconds to menu, than restarting the TV when I find that WiFi doesn't work from standbye.

      • Thanks for the tip, I'll try a factory reset.
Find it amusing I was hesitant to buy TCL thinking they would be buggy. Meanwhile my Sony TV is the problem child.

Is your cabling good between the router and the tv? Maybe it tries to negotiate 1gbps, but then fails?

      • It's possible but it's a new house & wiring and I've replaced the cable between the wall plate and router. I googled the issue and others are having it with Sony TV's and the Orbi RBK50.
