[Afterpay] SilverStone Fara R1 Pro ATX Mid Tower Case w/ 4x ARGB Fans - White $57 (OOS), Black $56 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ Umart

470
AFTER20

Lowest price ever on these SilverStone cases. If you don't want the 4 ARGB fans and controller preinstalled you can get the cases for $37 & $35 with a single black fan preinstalled. For about a $20 difference I think the ARGB fans are worth it.

In my opinion I think these are one of the best budget cases you can get as they're not from some generic Alibaba brand, have a mesh front for good airflow and on the front is 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port and a 3.5mm audio combo jack. The white case also stands out really well if you're looking to do a white coloured build.

A downside of these cases is that they're the older models so they're designed for GPUs up to 322mm, while the new Fara R1 Pro V2 is designed for GPUs up to 340mm. Besides the slightly larger size of the V2, the rest remains the same.

Congratulations on post 2001: A Clear Odyssey.
    My wife despises you, probably.

Haha what a classic. This is actually my 2002nd. 2001 here.

The less your wife knows about my deals the better I think. Meanwhile my partner who has an OzBargain account is quite supportive :P

:) my error. Here I was thinking Xiaomi Mijia was #2k. I jumped on that one as well. Ordered.

For real - you have saved us SOOOoo much cash. Means more that you likely understand. Wife thrilled based on how well she has taken to some of your posts over a very long time. Thank you Clear, thank you so, so much.

Thanks for the share & I do recommend this case also.

Can we all please stop with the Umart posts now.
Nearly everything is $20 off, we get it :)

Luckily for me there's no Umart stores in my state so the shipping along is enough to turn me away. Otherwise I would have bought two of these cases ;)

  • Shame it doesn't have usb-c

  • I am after a cost effective but still decent desktop with an SSD. Can anyone please list of the things that I need to buy to fit in this cabinet? Just need a spare Windows desktop to use with my existing monitors.

    • +1

      You need a
      -Motherboard
-CPU with integrated graphics unless you want to purchase a GPU as well
-RAM (pretty cheap now so grab 16gb DDR4, can do 2x 8GB sticks)
      -SSD
      -Power supply
Those are the essential parts for any PC build.

      • Thanks for sharing this post. I think this Dell computer is better than assembling my own. I am assuming that it’s ready to be used with my monitor unless I want to upgrade RAM down the track.

      • @jonathansunshine I ended up buying Lenovo thinkpad from the deal you posted @ $279 which is not bad to have a basic PC. Thanks again!

The strangest thing is happening. If I dont choose a store it is $76 + $10 delivery, but if I choose a store it goes to $87 and if I switch back to delivered it adds another $10 on top!

  • Done.

    • $20 delivery …. old Umart….

  • I just bought a 3060ti for PCVR, using the stock cooler on my 5600X. Found out today my Corsair case is 10mm too narrow to fit a decent enough budget cooler like the Hyper 212. Perfect timing for me, looking for cooling primarily
