Tried Quilton paper towels and it's crap. Difficult to tear a single sheet in half.

    Viva is far superior

    • Totally agreed. Won't buy Quilton again in this category!

    • Yep! Can concur… Quilton is horrible compared to Viva.

    • +1

I have the double length absorbia version ones at the moment and they are much better. No such issue. Handee Ultra still easily my preferred though.

    • I find it better to seperate the plys

    • ¡Viva Viva!

Amazon broken? Can't add to cart?

    • +2

same as me. It seems we bring Amazon down. Great OZbargainers!!

      • thanks for confirming… wasn't sure if just me. When you add to cart you get to a half loaded screen.

        • +1

If you scroll down, and see under
          "Other sellers on Amazon "
There is a link for "Lowest Price"
Click that and a button appears for Add to Cart.
          Hope that helps

        Just bought from this link
Viva Paper Towel, White (Pack of 12),12 Rolls (60 Sheets Per Roll) https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B076CJSR3D/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_G…

  • Back to normal price!

  • Try again (I changed the deal to specific seller link)

  • Using the Quilton ATM and in IMO it is on par with the Viva in terms of thickness and quality. Will wholeheartedly grab either again and again with no hesitation. Handee comes in a distant 2nd.

  • Back in stock.

  • Yeh agreed with the tearing part..
But imo I preferred the pattern of the quilton better.

  • I purchased via "other buying options" then noticed it has become available as per normal.

  • Back in stock and working… go go go

  • ordered - thanks op!

  • back in stock

  • Yay! Thanks OP.

  • Why Tuffy never on sae

    • +1

I believe Quilton Tuffy is Woolworths exclusive. It's been over 8 months now, I guess due to demand they haven't done any specials. I couldn't wait any longer so got this instead.

Quilton Absorba is an alternative, although not like the prices we used to see for Woolworths Tuffy and a bit more than this viva.

      • +1

People seem to think Absorba and Tuffy are not the same. Have been using Tuffy for a while and they’re far superior to Viva (and possibly Handee). Only noticed this when I recently switched from Tuffy to Viva. Not so keen on Viva any more :(

Pity Tuffy doesn’t go on sale.

  • Just bought this week at full price! Got 3 more to make up for it

  • +1

Interesting deal it is - $12 for 12 rolls of 60 sheets.

Coles is selling pack of 2 for $3.50
But they are 90 sheets each. Do the math….

    • +3

Why can’t you be more helpful and calculate on behalf of us who may not be as math-literate as you?

      • -3

I am sure you can help us all….

      • I'm also bad at maths. This may be wrong.

        60 sheets * 12 rolls = 720 sheets
        90 sheets * 2 rolls = 180

        $12 / 720 = 1.66 cents per sheet
        $3.50 / 180 = 1.94 cents per sheet

    • +2

This one is cheaper, so what's your point? 1.6c per sheet vs 1.9c and that's not even taking into consideration the further sub and subscribe discount…

      Good paper towel btw

      • +1

        so what's your point?

        That they can't do maths.

The easy way of doing it (at least for my brain) is the Coles rolls have 1.5 times the number of sheets, so they're equivalent to 3 Amazon rolls, which still makes them > $1 each.

        • +2

True, however Coles quite often have promotions of x flybuys points for x amount of spend. Usually that equates to a further 25% off. Of course everyone’s circumstances are different.

    • The 90 sheets will be the Select-a-size pack, which is equivalent to 60 standard sheets.

    • Very interesting indeed! I will need to ponder on this more tomorrow.

    • That’s why I’m here on Ozbargain waiting to hit the trigger and let others do the math for me

  • These toilet rolls deals are good but I am surprised no one I mean no one is even talking about Woolies and Coles stopped selling the value range toilet paper

    • +2

These are paper towels not toilet rolls. Suggest not using them as toilet rolls…they are like sand paper…

      • Lol Sand paper? what grade would you say it comes under. I am ok with the wet 320 sandpaper any under that I get tears in my eyes

    • Lol

  • Dang, too slow

    • Just check back every now and then for more stock.

  • oos

  • +3

    Handee Ultra gang. Viva sucks.

  • Looks like they might be price matching Big W

    • Thats $8 for 6 rolls.

      • It was $6 when that comment was made last month.

  • +1

    Back in stock.

  • In stock for me at this time. Thank you OP.

  • +1

    In stock again. Thanks OP.

  • In stock. Thanks OP.

    Right on time :)

  • Is this same qualoty as bigw 6 rolls pack? Big w has for $6.

    • Yep same product.

  • +2

    no S&S atm.

  • Please update the title as subscribe and save option is not available any longer.

Paid $3.50 for 2 at Cole’s yesterday. Ooh I love me a good bargain when I see one.

  • +7

Same price and you get 4ply Quilton Absorba Paper Towel Rolls, Pack of 12 https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08D5FJ4LS/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_T…

  • +1

I used to buy cheaper home brand rolls of paper towel until I read a consumer website review showing VIVA as best

so I bought - and I agree - I used two sheets to soak/absorb/wipe up the liquid fat from the bottom bowl of my air fryer after cooking a few lamb chops last night and it just seems nicer

(I haven't done any scientific comparison test so meh - it 'feels/seems' nicer anyhoo)

  • 60 sheets per roll?! At $1.67/100 sheets, it's cheaper at Colesworth when it's on special.

  • No idea why I just bought 720 sheets of paper towel, but here I am. 🤷‍♂️

  • +1

Is it cheaper than Costco though?

  • Is it food safe? I can't find any information on the package.

  • What do you guys do with the boxes all these amazon items come in? It's very difficult get rid of them for me.

    • put them in the recycling bin?

    • +1

Place the box in the garage, add the daily recycling stuff in it until its full, then put the box in the bin

    • +3

Use it to store things in the garage. The cardboard used to make the box is good quality.

    • Sell something on ebay and use the box to ship it out

    • This deal needs your upvote

      • Your username and the other one look almost the same. Hard to tell the difference when viewing on the phone without the avator. The only fast way is to tell the difference is one with neg.

        • Hahaha, I suspected there would be tons of usernames begin with bargain lol
