Anyone else having issues redeeming secret boxes? Everytime i try and redeem it says 'something went wrong'. Been like that for a few days now.

Yep same for me. Also the 500 Gem 5 entries box has always given an error "We ran out of prizes at the moment. Please contact the support team"
What do gems give you?
When the mystery prize box actually works, it'll give you a "prize" ($1/50c/25c cashback, extra lives, more gems, entry to grand prize draw etc)
100 gems each so this will give 4, unless you already have spares to get you to the 5th

I guess the point of the game is to get people to constantly go back to the app. If people return to the app, they are more likely to see a deal which they like hence buy stuff.
What l did with the gems l received
Mystery box 100 gems sometimes went wrong
1 lucky entry 150 gems this one working l did 3 time to redeem the gem l received.
5 lucky entry 500 gems out of stock
10 lucky entry 750 gems l didn’t try because l don’t have enough gems

Since l play this game maximum cashback l received was 50 cent l never touch even $1 that’s why l stop play this game. What a waste of time!!! In the past few months l used to play a lots. My maximum score around 12K - 15K max, More than 100 lucky entry but you will never lucky with that!!! I never get anything from lucky entry at all. I got cashback from mystery box 50 cents max. You'd think if they were giving away hundreds of dollars in a Lucky Draw, they would make a big fanfare about it to get more people to play. But I've never seen any announcements or anyone claiming they won anything from the "Lucky Draw", ever. So unless proven otherwise, I don't think this draw actually exists, and I treat it purely as "better luck next time".

Rant-I messaged them regarding missing cashback (had 2 questions), and their reply seemed copy & paste: like they just scanned email to find keyword 'cashback' and replied with a generic response and ignored my second question. That replied on Tuesday and its now Sunday, feel like they're never going to respond again.
I bought one of those Sony TVs on sale recently for over $4k and ShopBack won't give me cashback because of some BS excuse. In future I will only use Cash Rewards
