heyo fam, was showing a friend 'the usual rrp' of these earbuds when selling it to her for 50 bucks (mates rates lol) and chanced upon this gem of a deal. Lowest price according to CCC.

Sold and shipped by Amazon AU, which means you'll have luck getting it price matched from JB-Hifi if you want it picked up today :D (do it before it expires!)

These are legitly great earbuds and their noise canceling is one of the best (second to the XM4s), but terrible if you wanna chat loads in windy conditions, it literally amplifies wind when on a call lol. Totally fine for WFH calls though!

Battery life is decent, I avg 6 hours consistently with NC on. Not the longest, but you'll likely be satisfied with it (unless you're that modmic guy lol https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/12038893/redir)

Doesn't have multi-device pairing, but after going through the Jabra's and experiencing how the current BT5.2 implementation feels like, honestly, you're not missing anything atm. Switching between devices is pretty easy and fast so I've not experienced a bad time.

I guess if I were to nitpick, the base is a lil chonky for my prefs, it's smaller than the xm3's case for sure but slightly bigger than vanilla airpod case sizes. It's light so volume size is a bit annoying (I wear tight jeans often, so it gives that unintended bulge 👀)

Update: As I post this, I realize that I was talking about the QuietComforts instead of the Bose Sport lol 🤦, they're also on sale but not at lowest rrp https://www.amazon.com.au/Bose-831262-0020-QuietComfort-Earb…, think they'll be pretty worth at 250 in the future tho!

Man. The more times I read through your description in full, the more you sound like Bose's biggest competitor. haha. Great description but laced with a lot of honest 'don't buy this' warnings. :)

    • haha wife got these free from her previous work but didn't like in-ear buds, so I took em. Pretty damn good for free 😅

This doesn't have noise cancellation feature.

  • How come model numbers are disappearing, and instead of “QC 35 II” we have “Sport”? Seems to be the case particularly for the non-flagship model too

    • Model numbers aren't disappearing are they? Aren't you comparing on the ear more traditional style headphone with these in ear types that are aiming for a completely different market?

These are not noise cancelling, they are regular sports earbuds - I have a pair and they are GOAT in terms of sound quality and volume.
