Just started today is a new promotion at Grill'd for their HFC burgers.

Must be a relish member and the barcode will show in the app to redeem in-store or at checkout online.

Terms:

  • $5 HFC Burger offer is exclusively available to qualifying Relish members only, at all Grill’d Restaurants.
  • Offer is for one (1) of any on-menu HFC Burger: HFC Classic, HFC Smokey, HFC BLAT & HFC Bonfire BBQ, to be claimed for $5. Pattie swap not eligible for discount.
  • Only one (1) $5 HFC Burger to be claimed per Relish Member in a single transaction. Discount applies to the lowest cost eligible item. Add-ons and modifiers (including speciality buns) at additional cost to Member.
  • To redeem in restaurant, offer barcode, found in Relish promotional email or Grill’d app, must be presented and scanned at time of transaction.
  • To redeem online, Member must add any HFC burger to cart and select ‘$5 HFC Burger’ Coupon at checkout. Offer available for dine in, takeaway, pick up phone orders, online ordering, and Grill’d Delivery.
  • Excludes third-party ordering and delivery platforms.

        not sure why I'm getting the negs but all I did was go to the store, the person at the till scanned my email barcode and then scanned my student get a free drink deal from the app - then the total just went down to $4 which left myself and the staff stunned

    My local grill'd will do the $5 burger deal by taking the orders over the phone. I asked why it was pulled from their online site and she said they couldn't handle the hordes of customers taking up the deal.

    FYI it’s free delivery if you spend $40, and even if you add the $5 voucher it’s based on the pre-discount price, meaning if you add more than $40 to cart, then get your ~$12 discount for the HFC burger, you can pay about $28 and still have free delivery.

    Buyer beware, ring ahead to save yourself possible disappointment.

    Their barcode system wasn't working when I went and they luckily allowed me to still pay $5 for the burger in-store.

    I'm assuming from the details advertised here there is a way to get more than one burger for $5 as it says "burgers" not "burger"
    Does this mean that you just need to buy it in a different transaction and can you do it at the same restaurant at the same time?

    The 2nd voucher showed up in my account but not able to apply. It said "Coupon not found Unable to apply this coupon. Does not meet Terms & Conditions."
    Made my first order on 27 April. It's been more than 72 hours. Not sure what's going on…

      Same thing happened to me and my partner. We could not use the second voucher online but tried in store and it worked. After that the third voucher came through and can now be used online. Not sure if they have done something shifty to force people in store.

    Just had my first one and probably last. Very juicy chicken fillet but it's probably better described as a slider rather than a burger. Would feel filthy if I actually paid $15.90 for it.

    Went to store today and the sign says they close at 4pm even though staff is still there with customers. All other restaurants in the mall were still open. My guess is they are limiting chances this offer can be redeemed. Wasted trip.

    my rant —— just had this HFC blat burger - worst burger - burnt pattie, tiny bacon piece, no taste at all…totally Bland…..not worth for even $5…..
    Even my mate had exactly same experience with bonfire burger - had just 1 pickle and very bland

    Have used this offer 5 times now (work and personal phone interchange).
    For $1.50 extra can get low carb bun
    My local is frequently missing ingredients
    HFC Smokey is good
    2 attempts to get a HFC bonfire - first they made it with wrong sauce (ran out). Second they substituted ingredients and called it a HFC BBQ. Both pretty ordinary.

    First one worked in the app last week.
    Tried yesterday and couldn't get it to work in the app (didn't want to try going all the way thru billing and pay full price) but it did work in-store.

    I had a look today and there are no more vouchers - so it looks like they have hit their limit.

    Now I ended up having two HFC Bonfire BBQ, and to be honest they were both delicious.
    For marketing it worked partially. I had never previously eaten at Grill'd and this deal did introduce me.
    On the flip-side, as nice as it was, I doub't I'd be tempted to pay full price for these burgers in general for lunch.

      I remember going to the first grill'd, years and years ago. Burgers were under $10 and worth it. Not so much these days at their normal prices.

    I negged it for the owner of Werribee store who previously was General Manager of Operations of Grill'd.

    He complained to me that he didn't make money from the $5 burger when I was making the purchase over the counter. The store removed these burgers from the app.

    Btw, the fried chicken was over cooked and hard, also tasteless. KFC's fried chicken is better. Probably Grill'd specializes in grilling, not frying. Beef burgers are still good.
