    Is this now playable?

Yo, eh eh, don't ask a wise man, friend. Ask a fool.

    • +1

Somewhat but still not worth $39, maybe $10

  • +16

    Don’t support this shit.

The free open source option is better.

    • Might be better but I don't think opensource works on PS4.

      • Windows, Linux, macOS, Switch, Vita, Wii U and 3DS that I know of.

Same things make us laugh, make us cry.

    Did they fix it?

  • +12

No thanks, Battlefield 2142 for $9 has set the price for dumpster fires around these parts….

    • I think it will burn even lower in price soon enough

  • +3

Going to wait for this to hit $9.

    • +3

I'll have two number 9s, a number 9 large, a number 6 with extra dip, a number 7, two number 45s, one with cheese, and a large soda.

  • +5

If it did drop to $9, I might have to pick it up just to experience the train wreck first hand. Might be good for a laugh.

    • +1

All we had to do was follow the damn train, CJ!

Too busy playing E.T. on the Atari 2600, already chose my landfill game this year …

    • You must really like the ET video game if you have been busy playing it. Not bad for a 40 year old video game. Definitely a keeper then?

      • +3

40 years to figure out the controls, wtf to do, and why I keep falling into those damn pits, still haunted by those memories

      • +1

It's attempted humour at obscure knowledge where truckloads of unsold Atari gear were buried in a landfill and concreted over, with speculation that's where the majority of unsold E.T. game copies now lie.

        • +3

          This knowledge is obscure?
Oh I've wasted my life …

          • +2

@cook99: Not obscure for someone with the slightest interest in gaming history.

      • +3

Man, if you can eat your food, while everyone else is losing theirs and blaming you, you straight, homie!

    • E.T phone home?

GTA III was in my opinion the most groundbreaking game ever. The open world with the NPC just doing random funnys . The absolute mayhem of driving listening to some MSX or K-Jah on my way to pick up Misty. Damn I miss those days.

  • tbh even at the god awful, unacceptable, and frankly offensive state they came out in,

At 13 bucks a pop, these games are well worth it.

  • While controls have improved, it's just not the not the same without the original soundtracks\audio. Probably a combination of wanting to save on royalties and going woke.
PC "3rd party\modder" ports are a lot better, significantly improved graphics. These are really mobile ports.

  • I got to playing it on PC for about 2 hours. I tried Vice City. Seems ok. I'm not sure that PC had the patches installed. I was glad to see that an Xbox controller works with it. There were some bugs but it was better than the original. I probably won't buy it. Not for this price even.

I actually revisited the old Scarface - The World is is Yours game. That cars and handling seem to be better than Vice City. Same era.

  • Xbox version is also $39. I'm getting tempted but i'll hold out for the price to drop a bit more.
