About $300 cheaper than the exact same series 7 model in which the only difference is slightly more screen estate. Apple sells an official refurbished series 6 with no milanese for $899 so this seems like a good deal for brand new, with plenty of stock around. Gold and silver also available although store stock varies.

The glass and the dust resistance is a big consideration
A stainless model already has sapphire crystal so I don’t think the glass makes much difference.
