    support crews over at Kayo are extremely unhelpful and rude

      I mean, id be shitty if i was in their shoes as well - some dummy in another part of the business has just made their job 10 times as busy and painful. No excuse for them to be rude but i can empathize with them.

      They had to deal with karens threatening to report them to ACCC, spread bad/fake reviews of their business etc if they don't cave in and give the beggars 12mths service for free

  • my nbn must be pathetic nothing but clitching and buffering tried to watch supecars all weekend on NBN50mb's hopeless! had no issues when i had foxtel using the Go app!

    • What device are you watching on? Who is your provider? I use kayo all the time on nbn50 with Aussie broadband FTTN with zero issues, often with multiple other devices using bandwidth.

        Same - no issues with me either.

        Probably more to do with the device their using to access Kayo. Not all TV's / media player's are created equal.

  • using chrome-cast, casting from a Samsung s8 my 3 year old panasonic OLED tv doesnt have the kayo app…….. POS!!!

      Chromecast and Kayo rarely work well together, especially gen 1. I casted Kayo to a current model TCL TV with inbuilt Chromecast and it was garbage, then I casted Kayo to a Google hub and it was excellent. Go figure. Best to invest in a medial player (Android TV, Apple TV, Fire TV) if you plan to use Kayo long term.

        CC V1 isn't compatible with kayo. I have a CC Ultra and it works perfectly. Also works fine on my AU8000 Samsung tv.

      Any success? They told me a ridiculous answer: If you want to proceed with the permanent deletion, the number linked to the deleted account will be forever blocked with all the Streamotion product (Binge, Flash and Kayo).
      That means they will keep your info forever for blocking your access to their platforms.

    Mine's still saying 30/4/2023 expiry on both Binge and Kayo, anyone else still rolling with it? V curious how many are yet to get the kick.

    • I had active accounts with both, and they both still have mid May 2023 expiries.

              @gentlekoala5906: Yep, lost Binge and Flash and even though I received an email saying my payment couldn’t be processed for Kayo, it’s still going.

    • My Kayo still has the 12 month offer active with expiry due 05/05/2023. My next payment is listed as $0 on the 05/05/2022. We'll see what happens two days from now.

          My Kayo renewed for $0 this morning. Everything seems to be working fine. I think it's pretty safe to say if the offer is still applied in your account and your next payment is listed as $0 you're one of the lucky few.

  • So despite revoking my account and making it "Freebie", they just now emailed me after they tried to debit payment for premium. Luckily I had no payment options added, but still.. pretty messed up.

      I used a pre-paid debit card with $5 in it. So a basic check will pass.

    Just want to let everyone knows that this company will never delete your name/email/phone no. even if you have requested to remove your account.
    Their explanation is that they need to make sure you can't obtain free trial again after the first time.

    Quick question for those of you that scored this offer.

    When I go into my "subscription & billing" in my account I can see that I'm getting 12 months free, which is valid until the 24/5/2023. Given that I already had an active Kayo subscription (Kayo basic - 2 streams), when I applied the coupon code from this deal it provided me with a 12 month subscription for 2 streams. When I click on the subscription it appears to indicate I can change to the 3 stream package for free - https://i.imgur.com/2oRN72p.jpg

    Can anyone confirm if this is the case? I'm just worried it might actually charge me.
