    Normal price, no deal.

Can’t understand to people that would actually pay $60/$55 a year for nothing… as if Australia doesn’t have other supermarkets

      1. You can save way more than the membership just in fuel savings
      2. If you like rotisserie chickens, a Costco chicken is half the price and bigger than any other supermarket and delicious
      3. Costco didn't run out of loo paper during the pandemic 😄
      • their nearest station is 18kms away from where i live… yeah driving 38kms return just for few cents saving for diesel… what a bargain….

i can't imagine wear and tear plus early service cycle that will cost me a lot more in a long run… thanks but no thanks… my local petrol stations are doing quite well in term of diesel price/L.

        • Not everyone lives 18km away just so you know

          • @MagicMushroom: but $60 can buy additional 30L diesel now, used to around 45L so you know

unless you fill petrol/diesel on weekly basis in full tank to break it even… otherwise just like dump the money on sewage so you know

      • I save about $12-20/ week on fuel(over$700/ year).
Sometimes get a slice of their $3 pizza that is so large.
A pair of sketchers for $40, Nike's for $50, champion socks for $1.75 a pair, a leather electric recliner for $500($2k+ elsewhere), an electrical appliance or two, fantastic workout tights, the nicest Kirkland toilet paper.
I think my membership is well worth the $60.
Previously I would only go twice a year when it was an hours drive away. If that is your case then join, do a big shop and cancel. They will then refund 11 months worth(that's what I would do). Now they have online shopping there is much you can purchase without worrying about living too far away.

        • Great but you probably buy a heap of other overpriced crap u never consume. Large quantities means more wastage. Ppl who spend a truck load on their fresh produce which is 5x the price compared to the markets to make ur membership “worthwhile” are also getting secretly shafted

  • 50 blokes upvoted vs 13 negative for a trash deal. 😂 I believe generation z is taking over Ozbargain

    • More like Gen R as ozb has filled with tards these days.

  • Get a friend who is a member to refer you. Both you and your friend get $10 gift cards.
