Pretty solid price for the current market, especially with the $100 store credit if you need to buy something else.

Has been around $650 in the past, back when eBay deals were actually real deals…

Been waiting for the Bambino Plus to go on sale but that's now getting closer to the price of this. This might be the better buy now.

    • -2

The Bambino Plus in black truffle colour is $361 from TGG Commercial if you know anyone who has access.

      • +1

On my TCCG, it says its $500?

        • +1

I was about to say the same… It's coming up as $500 on TGG Commercial.

      • +1

NO, when did you last check, last year??

  • There doesn't really appear to be much stock of this item, also it can't be delivered if you still wanted to pull the trigger and miss out of the click and collect bonus

  • Anyone found stock in vic
Tried a few places but came out no stock

    • +1

Doesn't appear to be stock in WA
      Some stock in NSW (Kotara)

Bought one 4 days ago and it was shipped from traralgon. Bought it for 859 though :-(

The Barista Pro is a good machine with the latest thermojet technology - heats up really quick and transitions to steam very quickly too.

Definitely worth it over the standard Barista Express.

  • +3

Have this machine, bought it back when it was a lower price, still going strong. Thermojet makes a great difference, maintains constant pressure, perfect temperature and easy to maintain.

    Highly recommend!

Cannot agree more (even tho I dont own this machine, the grinder and timer on this beats my BE).

  • Can not be delivered to NSW, almost no stock apart Kotara!

    • Looks it's also in stock in Darwin and Port Macquarie (NSW)

  • Just bought this a few days ago for 859 from them. I wonder if i can return and buy it again.

  • Other store price match:
    - Harvey Norman: Can't do price match, because its lower than their stock price.
    - JB HIFI: Can do price match but only on the list price ($794.00) not the coupon code price ($714.60).

  • I have one of these got it 12 months ago and I love it. Once you work out the settings trial and error with the beans you buy, it's perfect. And I recommend buying a coffee thermometer on Amazon for a few bucks it really makes a diff with perfect milk everytime

There's a Barista Express "Impress" model showing up on Breville NZ website: https://www.breville.com/nz/en/barista-express-impress/home.…

It's not yet on AU website, would expect it will be available soon.

Has an integrated (manual) tamper and updated control panel, perhaps an indication of start of full range refresh.

    • Already available on Appliance Online: https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/product/breville-barista…
But the delivery date is in July.

    • That integrated tamper + funnel contraption looks great, one of my complaints with the standard BBE is that the doser always makes a mess

I wonder if the heating system will be updated to the ones used for bambino/barista pro, or use the old BBE system with the anemic steam pressure

      • +1

It mention Thermocoil, not the Thermojet, so does not seem to be upgraded! and they kept PF to 54mm

Purchased last week for $849 when TGG had 15% CB. so worked out at $735… Had to drive 25km to collect to get the $100 GC and Breville have already sent me the bonus. It appears to be out of stock everywhere in Brisbane, now, so probably shouldn't be too annoyed at the price drop. Hope the missus likes it even though she has just been advised to avoid caffeine for a while.

  • Hi OP where did you find stock I tried both SA and VIC no delivery or pickup available

Beware if you don't opt in for the marketing emails from them, your store credit bonus will be void. It's quite pissing me off as they refused to give me the credit as I forgot.

    • Wow I didn’t realise this. Bought a BE from GG yesterday and didn’t check the box. I’ve since set up an account which has opted me in for marketing emails. I wonder if that will get around it?

      • Good luck. Call them just to make sure they are giving you the credit. I'm still trying to complain.

  • This might be dumb question, but if I bought one of these machines when there is a great deal on as a backup for when my current machine packs it up and it sat in the box for a year or two would the functionality be effected at all when I start using it?

    • I think it would help if you don't use it before storing, so no water inside the machine.

      • Yeah that's what I meant, literally keep in brand new in the box.

  • received the $100 store credit.
But it is only valid from 26/05/2022 to 01/06/2022.

'Store Credit will expire within 4 weeks of the Credit Dispatch Date.
    4 weeks?'

    • Same here. No idea what to buy.

    • Called the help line, they said they'll send out a new one with 4 weeks expiry
