Anyone had issues with audio overlapping? Bought my parents the firestick last deal which they've only been using for sbs on demand. Sometimes when they launch it to play news it has something else playing in the background as well, have to turn it off at the powerpoint to get rid of the other audio.
Not sure what they're doing wrong, they tell me they haven't opened anything else but sounds like they have and haven't properly closed it yet & it's starting to play when they try watch news

I quite like Tivimate, using matthuisman's IPTV urls for playlist & epg.
e.g. http://i.mjh.nz/au/XXXXX/raw.m3u8 and https://i.mjh.nz/au/XXXXX/epg.xml, where XXXXX is a capital city name.
Free version requires you to manually update epg once a week, but otherwise pretty robust.
Got a Firestick this week and can confirm Tivimate works with it, if sideloaded.
Can you load multiple playlist? Kodi is free and auto loads the program guide.
The paid version of Tivimate might allow multiple playlists, but the free version is only a single playlist.
I use Kodi for many other things so should probably explore configuring the IPTV in Kodi to keep it all in the one spot.
Will use the guide you linked above and see how I go.

Only advantage I can see in Tivimate now is that it parses subtitles relatively well.
Can't seem to get Kodi to parse subtitles for the IPTV channels and seem to recall it's had this blindspot for a while.
