New service offering as part of Telstra Plus, and an incentive to sign up :)

Doesn't specify when the points will be delivered, but I'd say it will be after June 30.

Instructions:

  • Step 1: Download the My Telstra app (if you don’t already have it). To download the app, open the App Store (for Apple users) or Google Play (for Android users). Search for My Telstra and select install.

  • Step 2: Register for Telstra Plus Market using your Telstra Plus credentials in the My Telstra app. If you’re not a Telstra Plus member, you’ll need to join.

      I have experienced the same loop many times. However when I reopen my app the next day and clicked button under my name with number of points I have, there is a new 'Telstra Plus Market' option that I can click which directed me to the add debit/credit card page.

      Might need to wait some time for the Telstra Plus Market option to show up

        I logged in to my second account, for the first time since the promo began, this afternoon via the Android app. At first there was no Telstra Plus Market option available but after half an hour it appeared. This was despite being logged in this morning under my primary account on the same phone and signing up for Telstra Plus Market successfully. The app did not update at all during this time. Perhaps logging in triggers something server-side to generate access but it isn't immediate?

          Ah perhaps there is some kinda trigger.

          I am on Android and I did not relogin on my Telstra app but I did go to Settings -> Apps -> My Telstra -> Force stop and then opened it back and the Telstra Plus Market option appeared immediately

            @Icel: I've re-logged in back to my primary account and the Telstra Plus Market option took a while to appear. Perhaps on a new login each Telstra ID needs to request permission from the server to gain access to the scheme? I checked and it remembers my card details and interests.

    I found a potential option for those looking for eligible items. Head to ACTFAS store, look for AeroSupplies Portion Cups, they are 0.30c each. Min purchase is 0.50c, so buy 2 of them. Select click and collect. Call store and tell them to keep it and not refund.

    How do you link a debit card? So I've arrived at this page here. Now on the next page, it gives a bit of description as to what Telstra Plus is, the benefit for shoppers and benefits for business. Then there's a "Register for Telstra Plus Market ->" Button. However, clicking this takes me on an endless loop and back to the Telstra Plus section. Am I missing something?

      LOL, wouldn't trust Telstra chat in regards to points no matter what they confirm. Endless examples of them promising points in the past that are never followed up on, and points that weren't meant to arrive suddenly appearing. They're hopeless.

      Pretty much next to nothing. But you get them just by paying your bill each month, so, you might find a bargain on the rewards store.

      14 days seems to be the general line given out in their live chat for any points to pop. I was told 14 days 3 times for a bill paid in Feb (was contacting them in late March so 14 days had come and gone) hopefully they do pop, but won't at all be surprised if this becomes a fight with them for some to get their points!

        If you know your point balance, you will notice that the 1000 pts (or better stuffs if you are extremely lucky) are already added to your account at the page where you are supposed to choose a box. The action of actually choosing a box is purely for aesthetic effect.
