Instructions:

  • Step 1: Download the My Telstra app (if you don’t already have it). To download the app, open the App Store (for Apple users) or Google Play (for Android users). Search for My Telstra and select install.

  • Step 2: Register for Telstra Plus Market using your Telstra Plus credentials in the My Telstra app. If you’re not a Telstra Plus member, you’ll need to join.

  • Step 3: Select the offer categories that interest you (such as fashion) and link your credit/debit cards to ensure you earn Telstra Plus points when you spend with participating businesses.

  • Step 4: Start shopping. Browse Telstra Plus Market businesses to find the offers you love. You can choose as many as you like, there’s no limit. Keep an eye out in the app as we’ll continue to add more businesses.

  2. Click button under your name with number of points you have
  3. Click My Benefits
  4. Under Offers and partners click View Offers
  5. Click Telstra Plus button at top of screen (your on offers button)
  6. Scroll to Latest Member offers
  7. Click the little arrow on the right to scroll through offers and it should be in the list

        • I don't have either Geek Academy or ACTFAS available as it's location/interest based. It also seems spooking your GPS location doesn't change the location based offers.

          • @sween64: Did you have all categories selected as interest? Had to do this to see some offers.

  • So for those who got the 10k for card link, did you sign up through the benefits/offer page of your T+ account?

    It kept timing out for me so I went through the first page of the app and clicked telstra market and linked my card through there. No mention of 10k though the process.

    • The offer is not tied to any particular offer link.
      I did sign up just like the way you did and made an eligible purchase of $1 on the same day. Got 10k + 10k points already. So hopefully you will get yours sooner or later.

    • First link didn't work for me (just rebounce back to plus site) so used app and telstra market, received points 2 days ago.

          I guess is if you’re eligible, your account will be credited with the 5k pts.

      Strange… but why your account still works even though the service ended?

      • its just how it is. the account is active forever you add service when you get one, when you cancel it will gone, you cancel/close the service not the account

        i had foxtel in the past, close it, open prepaid mobile, close open post paid mobile, close , open , repeat. one account

  • Itching for the points! Got 10k for signing up on 1 account but still waiting on 10k on the other, plus both 10k for eligible purchase. Then the 50k for signing up to NBN will put me at 220k points total with what's in one of our accounts already. Papa gonna get himself some sweet sweet…I dunno what.

    Both accounts showing 10 points for a purchase from ACTFAS though so hopefully not far!

        They’re on seperate devices but just realised one of the apps have both logins stored. Both accounts are legitimately under two different peoples names however - does this normally mess things up?

  • When I log in to the app I am offered multiple Telstra Plus memberships which all somehow appear together in the app.
    Has anyone had success getting points on a second linked membership like this?

    • Maybe that's the reason I haven't received any points for the 2nd login in the app?

    • I'm a bit concerned about this too. So far I've got the 10k points for the first login for linking the card to the market place. Second login doesn't have the 10k sign up points (different card) Both are showing the 6 points for the 60c ACTFAS purchase from 18th of May. I guess patience is the key here. I was manually awarded the 5000 points for downloading the app on our secondary account when after 7 days they didn't appear, might be a similar case here

      Anything like this that doesn't pop they will tell you 14 Business Days before it'll appear. Apparently after those 14 days they can manually add the points for you. Whether or not you get a chat/support agent that does just that is a completely different story though!

    Waiting on the TP Market Place signup bonus, purchase bonus and also the 50,000 Telstra Plus points for signing up to NBN. Had to get the 5K app download bonus added manually so a little worried about having two different logins messing up things (once more both are legitimate logins)

        Hey mate, https://actfastraining.com.au/ is the website, apparently it'll track using the same card as you've linked but I wouldn't trust it. I originally couldn't find ACTFAS in the list of Market Place retailers but updated my preferences to include every genre of retailer and they were in there

  • Got my 20,000 points… For those like me who bought a $1 gift card when deal first posted, I'd suggest also buying the bandaids from actfas for 65 cents. The bandaids tracked after a couple days after I bought, 10,000 within a week of that. Still waiting for $1 gift card to track.

      Still nothing. That's not gonna happen.
      Telstra points/market place is a different department.
      I think that was a complete waste

      • Also waiting, and to make it worse, the mob selling the gift card sent a marketing text without an unsubscribe facility (breaching the Spam Act).

        I’ll give it another week and complain to Telstra if the points don’t come.

        And if another marketing SMS arrives sans unsubscribe facility, I’ll file a complaint with ACMA…

    Haven't got sign up 10k or shopping 10k from $1 Geek Academy two weeks ago.

    Opened chat on Friday 27th. Apparently it will be investigated and dealt with. No ETA.

    Purchased bandaids for $0.65 from ACTFAS yesterday. Got telstra plus email today saying my 6 points is on the way.

      That's a thousand dollars of monthly bills, to get 10k points. (I get 400 for my $40 month contract)

      Going via the app, only opens the website up anyway.
      As far as I can tell, with your linked card, they have access to see where you spent, if any, at their market place stores

    Telstra just manually applied the 70,000 points to my account after they escalated the case on Friday. 50k for NBN Signup and the 20k for the Telstra Plus Market Place offer. They still can't tell me why all 4 promos (NBN Signup, TP Market Place and 5000 for downloading the app) didn't apply, but I have a feeling it's something to do with having two accounts logged in on the one phone/app. Even if they are both legitimately separate accounts.

    Now begins the fun of transferring the points across to our main account!

    • I have had the same issue with points but only 1 account. So they may just be trying to get away without giving out points….

      • haha well they added the 50k and 20k as two seperate manual additions when I posted a couple days back. Today I’ve looked and those manual 20k points have been reverted with the description “manual adjustment”

    Seriously telstra support is the worst ever, still havent got any of my points and chat people are useless. Already contacted them like 4 times. They tried to call me once, missed me, didnt leave a message, 3 days later emailed me at like 2am and say i have to get in touch with them or the case will be close on the day. This is so not worth my $1 and countless minutes I spent chasing them up. With this type of support I get nervous signing up with them for the 2 month internet even at $1/m

    The points for market have been like pulling teeth here was my latest conversation:

    Telstra Support:
    Oh I do apologise for the confusion, Timothy. Technically, You are only eligible for the points if you purchased or link your payment by June 30 and not until June 30. That means, The eligible users who purchased and linked their payment in June 30 (one day promotion) is the eligible for the points.

    Timpo:
    This is not a one day promotion. You are confused. Can I please talk to someone else.

    Telstra Support:
    I do apologised for the inconvenience, Timothy. However, Upon really checking here in my end that the promotion is when you purchased and link by June 30.

    They then agreed to raise it with Telstra Plus points team. We will see how far I get this time for my 20,000 points.

  • Signed up and linked a card back on the 10th May, points posted on 31 May. No hassles, no calls to Telstra, the system worked like it should.

    So I was called today after I contacted online chat yesterday, the 20k points were manually adding to my account then manually adjusted. The person I spoke with advised me that he had been speaking with their technical team and there’s apparently a massive backlog they’re working through to award everyone the points, and that it will happen but he can’t give me a timeframe.

    Sounds absolutely stinky to me, but we go back to waiting!

      when i finally talked to them they said to just keep waiting. lol.

  • Anyone else having issues placing an ACTFAS bandaid order?
    After I put in card details the confirm & pay button stays greyed out and when I click it Says Invalid Fingerprint on the next page and the payment doesn't goes through

    • Happened to me too (using my phone), I tried again on computer and worked fine. Doing the same purchase on my partner's phone also worked fine.
