      I’m not going to neg the deal but I agree. Cheddar is a a POS and I’m surprised CBA want their name associated with this hot mess of an app.

      Sent 2 emails.
      I never replied.
      The other replied late after nearly 7 days and didn’t even answer the question.

      I signed up for the bonus $50 offer. Bought something on 29th march, got the cashback approved on may 1st. So I haven't had any issues yet.

      Cheddar is indeed a POS. However I got my $50 sign up and my cashback eventually by complaining to the storerep then they gave me support's email.

      All of my transactions on the Cheese have tracked.

      But I don't like being shoe-horned into using an app which then opens a browser to transact…..urghhh. My preferred mobile browser (Firefox) sets "Tracking Protection" to ON, which I reckon kills Cheddar from tracking most/all transactions.

      Their entire architecture/platform needs a re-jig, and they need to get "everyday" retailers like Amazon, eBay, supermarkets on board. Cheese are starting from a long way behind.

    lol i think Cheddar IS Commbank. Too late to distance themselves now.
    Shame, I've been looking forward to trying Cheddar. Also annoying that you can see what stores are partnered with Cheddar before joining.

    never got my cashback, app is atrocious. no email notifications etc. made a claim for my cashback and support got back to me like a week later

    So the signup bonus is only for those who make first spend of $70 or more? Or is this for any first spend valued larger than $70?
    Also Ts and Cs say "Not valid in conjunction with any other Cheddar offers", which makes any purchase ineligible, as anything you buy via Cheddar has a cashback offer.

    Can the store rep getcheddarapp please explain this publicly - not via DM?

      The bonus is eligible for customers who activate the sign up offer & the first spend is a minimum of $70.00 (excl. GST).
      Please note the offer is applicable for users who shop a cashback offer.
      The T&Cs you reference is in regards to 'stacking' of sign up offers or bonuses.

        Oh, really? So if I first spent $30 with Menulog I won't qualify for any future purchases for $70 bonus anymore?

        "Excl.GST" is not explicitly mentioned on any offer pages though. So the users (who somehow would become aware of this condition) also have to calculate themselves how much they actually have to spend incl. GST to become eligible. Surely lots of people would just spend $70 (not $77.78) and become ineligible at the end.

          Once you have successfully qualified and activated a sign up bonus, you will no longer be eligible for any future campaigns @alexshel.
          Thanks for your feedback in regards to our T&Cs - cashback is calculated pre-GST across brands, and our sign up bonus T&C is in accordance with this.

            If I signed up (downloaded the app, see the pending $70 bonus there) and my first purchase was less than $77.78 I will no longer be eligible for this offer? Is this correct?

            This is so confusing. Definitely not the best start of promoting your app. I doubt there will be many who qualify and receive the cashback. Surely there will be MANY disappointed people, this is 100%

                @[Deactivated]: Thank you. However, you did not respond my above questions. You mentioned your "full" Ts&Cs - they are not full at all. They don't mention "excl.GST" and there is nothing about "first purchase".

                I referenced a phrase from these Ts&Cs in my original comment under the post = I am aware of this page and the page does not answer my questions.

      This $70 offer as well as the app is a joke. Look at the popularity of this deal and number of negative votes. They don't even tell you that this $70 excluding GST. In fact you need to spend $78.
      CBA wasted their money on another useless "venture".
