50% off the RRP of All Vitamins at Chemist Warehouse

121

Went there today and saw sale labels on all vitamin bottles in the aisle.
Starts today, ends 24th May.

Although it is 50% off the RRP I'm sure many of these would still be a good deal.

I have been to one before.

There will be a slight saving but not much because CW revert to their inflated RRP and halve it from there.

Not worth it if anyone is expecting 50% their usual prices.

  • I need swisse ulitivite hope its a good price

Their RRP is higher than usual price

  • lol @ marketing techniques

  • Yeah I was at a CW yesterday watching the staff literally ticket every single thing in every single aisle and thought 'this is the lamest marketing ploy I have seen.'

Chemist Warehouse use scam tactics to make themselves cheap. For example, their slogan appears to say "Australia's Cheapest Chemist" yet if you look closely, you'll see the words "Is this" before it. Or their "Open to the Public" statement making themselves appear like a wholesaler.

Some of their products are also parallel imported from overseas (not that there's anything wrong with that), but leads to some items being inferior and Reject Shop quality.

Just order as much as regular postage will allow from www.iherb.com. MUCH cheaper.

If these guys weren't making money like water then they wouldn't be opening stores everywhere. One of my local branches expanded into 2 neighbouring shops when they 'went broke'.

Bottom line is: their prices could be cheaper and more honest.

I checked it out today. Even though it's not exactly 50% off as the discount is calculated off the inflated RRP. However quite a few vitamins are sold at pretty good prices. In fact much cheaper than their usual prices and significantly cheaper than in the supermarkets or many other chemist stores.
The vitamins I was after are much more expensive at iherb.

I went through all the different brands / containers for odourless fish oil to compare price per gram of Omega3 trigylcerides.

Cheapest at 13.61 cents per gram is the Swisse odourless 1500mg high strength wild fish oil, where you get 200 capsules containing 450mg per capsule of Omega3 marine triglycerides for $12.25.

Next cheapest is Nature's Own odourless fish oil 2000mg double strength, where you get 200 capsules containing 600mg per capsule of Omega3 marine triglycerides for $17.95.

A quick search on Google, and I cannot find any store in Aus doing those Swisse odourless high strength wild fish oil for that cheap.

  • Better off buy vitamins from supermarkets. I just checked it out there, BLACKMORE fishoil odourless 1000mg 400 capusules after 50% off is $21.98. The same product in coles 30% off only costs $17.63.Coles has Swisse half price at the moment.

Keep away from CW. Their price is dishonest.

  • Bought swisse mens ultivite for $30 for 120 tablets. woolworths was selling with their "everyday reward specials" 60 for $24 so its a good deal.
