There's 2 models (both on special). OC and OC1. One of them has the cheap 5500xt cooler.

Been looking at this deal for a week but I passed. I have a 1440p screen and frankly $500 is a bit rich for 128 bit bus & 8x pcie (infinity cache doesn't nullify this bottleneck). If you need 1440p the 2070s deals 18 months ago were far better (256 bit/16x) and was available for slightly cheaper.

18 months ago we were living in a different world.

It's technology. Pentiums 3's aren't worth more than pentium 4's lol. What you're referring to is crypto/covid inflation. Prices will return to normal the current market isn't the long term

Exactly, prices are coming off that artificial peak.

For anyone wondering, OCv1 (this one) has the cheap cooler. OC version is $10 more from BPC.

The mech tbh is the first non shit model we've seen at this price. For the last 8 weeks retailers have only been offloading e waste models.

Thanks @Jimmy77 for the info, bit of a noob here ;)

No worries. The 6600XT is effectively the same speed as a 1080ti/2070 super. But the 6600XT only has 8x pcie and 128 bit memory interface. Meaning it's not designed for 1440p or 4k gaming. For comparison the 1080ti is 352 bit (2070 super is 256 bit) and both are pcie 16x.

      Same same
Cooling isn't a big deal with the low tdp of the 6600 series
