  • Free delivery for trainers only. Most of the Thule racks still have delivery fees due to being large or bulky items.

    Wahoo Kickr V5 -> $1529.15
    Wahoo Kickr Core -) $1104.15

    Not bad if you're looking for trainers

    • don't forget need to add cassette for the core, although maybe better off doing a price beat at 99bikes using bike bug since it's not a 15% sitewide code.

      • how does this work in terms of chain wear? I have only used an on rim magnetic one before and I see there are all these new ones that can also add resistance without contact direct to the rim and these ones where you remove the back wheel entirely. Wondering on the logistics and whether there may be something i'm missing re the chain

        • chain wear will be the same on a wheel-on or direct-drive. You still need the chain.

          On a wheel-on, you wear out the tyre a lot quicker which is why many recommend getting a trainer wheel.

          • @impoze: the existing one i have is a rim drive, not a "wheelon" as you mentioned.

            So it appears that you'd have to maybe match up the wear levels between the trainer and your wheel rear cassette. Confirming I haven't missed anything there
