Gift card fest promos:

Steps for $5 credit:

  1. Tap the "Apply code" button or enter the promotion code GCFEST at checkout. Offer limited to one promotional credit per customer and Amazon.com.au account.
  2. Add $100 or more in select Amazon.com.au Gift Cards to your cart.
  3. You will receive the $5 promotional credit within two days after your qualifying Amazon.com.au Gift Cards purchase.

Terms for $5 credit:

      Worked for me at 9:08am. If you already clicked the 'apply' button then it won't also let you enter the code. But on the right hand side it will say 'eligible promotion: gift card fest'.

        I purchased GC from mobile app, and I don't see "eligible promotion: gift card fest" mentioned anywhere.
        Are you using browser by any chance?

          In a browser. I did get the text a bit wrong from memory. The exact wording is:

          "Qualifying offers: Amazon GC promotion"

          which appears under the order total.

    Clicking Apply Code from link above works, but entering GCFEST on checkout for Amazon GC no longer works.

    Edit: received confirmation email soon after purchasw gift card.

      Yes.

      When you add an Uber gift card on your Uber account, it will appear in your Uber wallet, which can then be used for both Uber and Uber Eats.

      The same happens for Uber Eats gift cards.

      As above make sure you either click on the button via the offer link or use the code. If you the first the code will say invalid. But clicking on the offer button does work as it activates the offer.

        I feel like this should be added to the deal description, or at least bold the "or" in "Click Apply code or enter GCFEST"

        Pretty confusing that when you click the button it says "coupon clipped" and you think you have to paste the code at checkout but it's already been applied.

      I am in the same boat. Bought $100 Netflix card around 7am and still said processing after a few hours. Chat support said they needed to do manual authorisation with the bank even though I paid for it with Amazon gift card + $5 promotion credit. Told to it can take up 24 hrs.

        Same, paid with existing Amazon credit from an old refund. I guess the system flagged us for some reason as others seem to be getting it instantly, must not trust us, we're probably like scomo walking the dog around govt house this morning 😏

          Same thing happened to me last night. This morning my account got locked and I received this email- "We believe that an unauthorized party may have accessed your account. "

          I had to reset my password and the gift card was cancelled.

    I purchased $100 Netflix egift card but completely forgot my Netflix account is created via VPN (Turkey) so I'm unable to redeem my code on Netflix :(

      You can't really see it anywhere, the only way I know how, is to add something to your cart and start the checkout process, it will ask you if you want to use your promo credit on one of the screens. Obviously don't complete the checkout process unless you want to buy the item.

      It looks like the 10% discount on Uber gift cards is over.

      • When I purchased an Uber gift card yesterday, there was a message on the Amazon AU webpage for Uber gift cards that selected gift cards were 10% off. I've just checked the webpage just now and that message has disappeared.

      • The discount was being applied in the checkout last night without requiring any coupon codes. However, I just added an Uber gift card to my cart and the discount is no longer applying automatically. (BTW, you didn't need to apply any coupon codes to get the Uber gift card discount yesterday.)
