From the reviews I have read, the audio quality has not changed with the newer model, so if audio quality is you primary need, these a very good deal.

In terms of SQ these and the V1s are unreal for mine but requires a bit of tinkering via the app EQ settings. Btw I didn't neg ya mkay.
People are welcome to neg away haha. For me they are a bit too chunky for wireless ear buds and I just don't think their sound quality is far enough ahead of the pack to make it a good trade off. There is a reason that was the biggest change they made on the new ones. Not saying this isn't a good price however.
i owned the first generation and it is uncomfortable to wear.
Nothing special about the sale price, and nothing special about the earphone either, or it's successor.
The future of Sennheiser's IEM business is in good shape, but this is a skip.
If you can't wait for LC3 low latency options, look instead at Samsung Galaxy Buds, AKG N400, and the Sony XM3 & XM4.
I think these were always in a bit of a weird place. They aren't as comfortable and convenient as some their competitors like some Galaxy Buds and Airpods, but at the same time they aren't really on a whole other level in terms of sound quality to justify the sacrifices IMO. I like Sennheiser a lot, but not one of their best products IMO.
