Quick Video Review —- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMxeRKuBqjI (32gb not 16gb)

Msy page doesn't say which android version it comes with as video review is old with 2.1 version so it will be interesting if someone can double check with msy about the software version !

Not sure if its gonna blow any bells and whistles but thought I will share it !!
Reviews aren't so gr8 but considering the price now its not bad !!

The deal is in the news ticker thing they have above the product description

  • You should mention that it's in store only.

  • wonder if I can install windows 7 on it to run instead of crappy Android 2.1

    • I think u might have to check whether its really still 2.1 bcoz I think they should have upgraded to 2.3 and if its 2.3 it will be sweet for lot of purposes !!

    • No. Windows 7 doesn't run on ARM.

    • Impossible, CPU is ARM not x86/x64

/wishfully thinks of Windows 8 and proposed ARM CPU support…

    • I would install Ubuntu ARM (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ARM)

  • "Memory 512MB DDR2 (533MHz) On board (No free slots)" - this really kills it for me more like a smartphone specs or worse :(

Bad review, no wonder the huge price cut.

The AC100 is an impractical curio that no one should spend their money on.

Wow, its the worst CNET rating I have ever seen!

  • make it a 100 and i'll get one.

    • Be realistic mate !!

        I dont think thats unrealistic

      • Obviously this is not going to sell at all. Toshiba dabbled at android notebooks and it didnt end well. Remeber HP's attempt at tablets?

Okay was impressed until the review, no matter what upgrades are available ie ICS it is not going to make this a better netbook

(making this comment to clarify some details)

This is basically an Android tablet without the touchscreen and with a keyboard.

    You cannot upgrade internal storage
    You cannot upgrade ram
    You cannot install Windows (7)
You maybe able to install Linux on it…(Ubuntu I think)
You maybe able to upgrade it to Android 4 via custom roms
This item is a discontinued product so don't expect official android updates

    • How about as something for Public Access Internet (at a Library or in a Shop)?

  • I think this is no way close to a serious netbook. Its better to spend a 100 dollar more on a netbook, or around an expected 500 dollar for the new ultrabooks from amd(trinity)[not out yet].

      LOA (land-fill on arrival)

  • FFS it doesn't even officially support Android Market. That leaves no reason to buy this over a Chinatab, especially given cost/performance ratio.

I don't like the services of MSY… they don't care about customer huh? [just my opinion]

    • +tive this comment because I find it amusing.

I don't see the point of this netbook. At all. Especially when no touchscreen means functionality severely restricted.

Not even heavy enough to use as a boat anchor
