OEM brushless version of the popular and super fun, brushed Wltoys 144001. This version is the ducks nuts and doesn't have cogging issues like the Eachine EAT14. Really fast, better electronics than the original. This is the best price I've seen and represents great value. To convert a brushed 144001 to brushless would cost you well over $200 in total. Heaps of spares and upgraded parts are available.

  • Can these be retrofitted with a camera to operate them similar to the fpv drones. Would give Mario cart a run for it's money.

Absolutely can. I pinched an old FPV camera off a dead drone and tacked it on my buggy; it pairs with a 2.4GHz USB receiver I've got for my phone as well

Unless it was a camera with really, really good stabilisation, the vision would be really bumpy, I reckon. I don't think it'd be the best experience. If you search "144001 fpv" on youtube plenty of people have done it. If it's on dead flat road it's ok but anything else is hard to watch unless you've got great image stabilisation like this video which is shot with a DJI Osmo Action (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdZArodmbj0).

  • Thanks, great price!

  • What should be a good RC drift car? Any recommendations?

  • was about to pull the trigger on this, but i'm impatient. Might wait now.

"Expected to ship before Jun 25th,2022"

also ships from china rather than AU warehouse, so I reckon you might have this sometime before August if you order now.

    • Yeah I wouldn't expect it to arrive quickly, but you won't find local stock of this car, or anything comparable in this price range.

The promo price is back again to < $165 until June 22.

    • Cheers. Updated.
