May end up cheaper with ebay 20% off discount for plus members.

    • Thanks but where did you get the 20% discount on eBay though ?

      • Coupon code: PLSAVE20

        • Ah ok , didn’t realise that , but unfortunately I am not an eBay plus member though ..how much is the final price after applying the discount code and adding the delivery ?

          • +1

@Sunnyoz: Works out $279.20 + $19.60 delivery to my place after discount.

Sign up ebayPlus via here and use the $20 voucher link on shopback to get $11 profit and one year ebayPlus membership

            • @Pricebeat: No worries, I think with Catch and ShopBack offer it’s still works out to be cheaper i.e about $291 and I think with eBay plus it will be $295.80 so still saving about 4$ with catch ..just saying 😊

              • +1

@Sunnyoz: Yeah definitely. If that works out cheaper for you, then why not!

Cannot recommend. I was offered a replacement but new mattress started deforming again. Spend more for sealy or other Aussie brand. I got this Leura queen $550 delivered a year ago and love it https://www.freedom.com.au/product/24326636?gclid=Cj0KCQjwhL…

    • +1

Had similar experience in terms of deformity + got bonus aches. Look for other alternatives.

      • +1

that’s a shame, yes I was getting horrible backache too! The Leura is so good. I know that are more expensive alternatives out there too but I was quite lucky in picking this mattress. I’ll never buy a roll up again, we spend most of our lives in bed hence it needs to be a well thought investment.

        • +1

The only issue with the Leura is delivery times.

Freedom say 2-3 weeks and then 2-3 months later you are still waiting.

A friend of mine is waiting more than a year for his sofa from Freedom. They seem to have serious supply issues with a number of products.

          • @TheCandyMan2020: Wow, that’s incredibly bad. I can’t remember how long I waited but it wasn’t much a year ago.

    • Thanks for Sharing ..howz was your overall experience with the sealy brand ? Is it comfortable mattress for two people weighing approx 50 and 60 kgs ? Does it have any side /corner support from the person falling on the floor ?

      • +2

Well me and husband weigh well above that and no complains (we have the firm). Not sure what you mean about the side/corners it doesn’t have them as far as I can see. You can try the mattress in store before you order it.

        • Im also in the market for a new mattress. Does the SEALY Leura firm mattress have that layer of memory foam on the top? I Had the Atelier which sagged, then a onebed which was pure memory foam, which sagged as well.

          • @Spazmos: No memory foam top. It’s a nice material not sure what it is.

      • +2

We are about 60 and 70 kg and have had one for about 5-6 years. Still going strong. Would recommend

        • +1

Thanks, is this the Sealy one or the Zzz atelier one you are referring too?

        • +1

          ??

  • +1

    Compressed = bad

  • +1

Guys please avoid buying this mattress. Start to have neck and back ache… Then sagged within few days of purchase and their warranty is no warranty. Then had to throw in hard rubbish. DO NOT BUY!!!

    • +1

Hi Zane they did give me a replacement but it did the same! Waste of money, Effort, time and excruciating back pain.

      • +1

You were lucky to get a replacement… But still feel sorry for you because it must be the same as the first one… I tired of providing proofs and wasting time over emails… Moving mattress here and there…

        • +1

Yes it was pointless. I gave it to a friend of mine for their spare room.

      • +1

They did mention Chiropractor in the name/Title. May be they mean you will need chiro after buying it?

        • Lol

  • Why would ANYONE buy a mattress without trying it first….

    • Because any mattress you can try before you buy is a rip off with a 300% markup

      • Plenty at $400 forty winks

        • Which makes it as $200 mattress.

Ikea is probably one of the only places you can go where you might get value for money. (without a sale anyway)

          • @samfisher5986: So then this one is a $150 mattress with that mentality. And given the reviews it isn’t even worth that. I’ve always bought mattresses from forty winks, sleep doctor etc and had the best sleep on it for over 10 years. Considering you spend 1/3 your life on a mattress, $400-500 for ten year life is not a rip off

    • For the spare room.

All these vaccum sealed mattresses were a great marketing idea, and made millions but now everyone is just realising their crap?

I can't believe people risk their bodies for a cheap bed

50% of lower back issues are because of a mattress!

People spend more on tyres than a mattress, it's a bit ridiculous lol

    • +2

Haha. Would like your your reputable source on 50% on back.

I'd have a fair guess and say obesity would be the number 1 culprit.

      • +1

Def more than 50% with this mattress alone complaining about back issues on here

    • I spent many thousands on a store bought mattress, tried so many out, and they are all the same. After a few months, they feel nothing like they did at the store.

  • +6

Disagree with the people who say don't buy.

These are great. I've had for several years and have my whole family using them. They have been fantastic. Would happily buy again.

  • +1

Bought two in the past year! This one and another firm mattress. Started having back issues with both of them. Springs went out of shape and when contacted for a warranty they were not at all helpful. They are OK for a spare room NOT your main mattress. Be prepared for back issues (lower back and neck should pains).

    • Firm is quite bad for backs I thought

  • +1

Hurts my back and sags in the middle. Sorry can't reccomend.

  • +1

Cheaper on eBay, but COMPLETELY SHlT mattress…
