  I bought these last time. Nice diffused warm white. No adjustable brightness and not very bright but perfect to light up wardrobes, under cabinets, inside cupboard, etc.
  I'm actually also sitting one on top of my curved 34" monitor as a desk lamp and works perfectly. Definitely a high quality product but a bit expensive.

Grabbed a few to try in my server rack which is in a dark area that half the time requires I have a torch on hand. Was thinking about options to get more light in there and had been thinking I'd go with a light strip. These being magnetic is perfect and has the advantage over a strip since I should be able to easily reposition them on the chassis depending on where I need light and I'll have permanent access to USB ports in there so charging won't be a problem. Hopefully they work out alright.

Have 4 of these, works really well in the pantry. Make sure you use the provided wire to charge with, I tried charging with other USBC cables it didn't charge and I thought they were faulty.

  That's a bit odd any idea what wattage your cable and their cable is at.
  
  Afaik there is standard default, 60W and 100W for now and probably higher ones for the super extreme fast charging ones.

  I just want to thank you for saying that. I thought one (the only one) I bought died on first charge. I wasn’t using the supplied cable though so went and found that yesterday and it charged successfully! It’s stoopid but oh well
