Hi Ozbargainers,

I seem to be getting a bit of a reputation amongst the pharmacy reps as a vacuum cleaner that will take up any odds and sods of stock they have at the end of a run/consignment. Not sure if this is a good or a bad thing, but its allowed me to put a nice little low tablet count bundle together tonight. I'm often getting messages for small tablet count bundles and they are really hard to put together as the smaller tab quantity boxes are often a very similar price to the larger tab counts and the packing, envelope, transaction and postage costs often outweigh the price of the actual meds. Anyway - thanks to some hefty discounting by a couple of reps tonight we've got the hayfever sufferers hero trio of generic: Telfast (Fexofenadine), Claratyne (Loratadine) and Zyrtec (Cetirizine) - without question the industry top sellers.

      If you are getting hayfever year round, have a look at your environment.
      I got it regularly until I moved house. New house amongst other things had no carpet and no pets and no flowering gardens etc. Previous house had all the above etc.
      Get it much less.

        This. My SO turned out to have a grass and dust allergy too. Carpets can be a killer, we vac pretty often now.

        Agree, I'm not sure what changed but I would need a couple of tabs every week or so in my old place. I have taken only one due to really intense cleaning and unpacking in my current place. I'm going to say its dust from the old carpets for me because everything is pretty much the same. Same pet, more flowers in the garden (maybe better soil/less dusty soil?).

        Nope it's diagnosed that I have year round hayfever and I'm allergic to dust. Done all the tests. This is my life now.

          Yeah you got a dust allergy , I have the same. Vacuuming more frequently and wiping down surfaces and walls helps a lot for me

    Took an antihistamine called Periactin for a migraine the other day. Worked a treat.
    It’s an older generation antihistamine so zaps your energy levels quite a bit.

      Let me see what I can do - most of these deals are actually weeks in the making (me nagging reps who then have to get approval to sell from 15 steps up their food chain). This was a pretty good deal which relied on 2 reps from different companies coming good to allow the deal to be put together, I'll have a chat to them and see what I can do.
