This one good for frying eggs on the side of the case or nah?

    • It will get very hot and use heaps of power yes :)

  • -7

Hey bro any cheaper than this? Throw a coupon or something

    • +2

Sure here it is "$1OFF" enjoy it!

  • +2

Prefer this over the techfast despite the price

  • What cooler does this come with?
    Might be blind, sorry

    • "Cooler EVGA CLC 240 RGB LED 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler"

    • 240mm evga aio

  • +4

Damn! You couldnt even get the 3080 for that last year :)

  • +3

Any chance of choosing another case?

    • Agreed, bit of a deal breaker for me

      • +1

Why is the case bad? From the photo it looks like the ventalation should be pretty good maybe even great.

        • -1

~90% of the front of the case is steel, with only <10% left open for airflow, with likely a dust filter behind that. It'll be very hot and the front fans will be very noisy trying to overcome the hugely restricted airflow.
If you look at some other case reviews, there has been far more ventilated cases have terrible thermals.

          • +3

@iseeyou1312: I knew this was going to be a Gamers Nexus review before clicking on the link

The fact is this case is going to be fine for 99% of people, if you are the 1% who wants to push for every last 0.1 FPS from your PC, maybe you shouldn't buy a pre-built???

            • @psyclone1982: Actually mine is just aesthetic preference. Haha.

              • @cc23: Which is fine.

Linking a Gamers Nexus case review that show a CPU running at 54 degrees versus the same CPU running at 50 degrees in another case means nothing when the CPU in question isn't going to thermal throttle until 85-100 degrees anf 54 is more than acceptable.

      Hi CC23,

You let us know the case you are looking for and your email through private message, and I will ask the sales team and see if they can help :)

      Cheers,

    Pc is good,,,but price is…

    • is what

  • Any chance for a 12th gen 3070 deal?

  • Can I swap the mobo plz? I don’t wanna use Gigabyte BIOS

    • Hi Nelladream,

You can check the motherboard upgrade option :)

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

  • +1

    DDR5 version please

  • +1

Don't know about pricing, but that's a good build spec.

I don't even mind ddr4 over ddr5 right now, good ddr4 is as good as average ddr5.

  • -1

Isn’t the Dell XPS RTX 3080, 32GB ram and better CPU (i9 12900k) a better deal?
I have limited knowledge on these machines and can only identify better psu and cooler on this I guess but more ram also ddr5 and better cpu on that which is sub $3,000 now.

    • +1

where can u get Dell XPS RTX 3080 with i9 12900k? for this price $2599
The only deal I can find is $2924 on eBay
      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/334292295412

      • That’s the one. What I mean is given more ram ddr5 and better cpu on xps is the $325 difference justifiable?
        Also free delivery on XPS

        • +2

No, because it's deal. The entire PC will be a propriety component nightmare and unless you have a specific need for a 12900k, you won't notice the difference between that and the 12700k.

Also, it's really slow DDR5, so fast DDR4 is probably better anyway due to its lower latency.

          • +2

@iseeyou1312: agree. I also think the cooling system and PSU of XPS is not that good compared to this deal.

          • @iseeyou1312:

            No, because it's deal

            No, because it's a Dell*

        • +1

Don’t touch Dell prebuilt with a 10 foot pole. Likely using a non standard motherboard size which can’t be easily replaced or upgraded.
That front io? Probably part of the motherboard, they often extend the mobo to the front of the case.
The case? Literally a 1990 design they’ve slightly adapted. Will have much poorer thermals than it should.
PSU? Likely a cheapo with non standard pin arrangements meaning you can’t use it in a future system.
Dell systems are so poorly made that they often underperform relative to their specification, much better to buy a prebuild with standard parts from somewhere like BPC, Techfast, Centrecom, Scorptec, MSY etc and have standard parts which can be replaced and upgraded as needed.

          • +2

@Anthropomorphised: From working in IT I sware the same guys who design flat packs for Ikea are the same guys who design Dell prebuilts.

            • +1

@Sherro: both are designed to be as unrepairable as possible. Why have people fix and keep their machines when you can force them to buy a new one? Truly fkd

  • Dammit, I just spent this much on a 5900x build from techfast with a 3060

    • Wow, how come? Did you upgrade any part?

      • some better parts but, 64gb ram, noctua d15, 850 power supply.. wasn't stock, but only slightly different to their creator build. Looked around to see if I could find better deals on various parts I used but there wasn't anyway I could get a 3080 into my budget.

        • +2

5900x with a 3060 is a weird combo, I thought u would go with 3070ti at least with that build

          • @Masticccc: It's not for gaming, mostly needed lots of cores and ram. 3060 will handle undemanding 3d visualisation stuff I do. If I find I need more hopefully better prices later.

  • +1

    Great build.

    • +1

      Thanks!

  • +2

Is there wifi or any way to get it?

    • +1

      Hi Al Mawsil,

The Gigabyte Z690 UD AX DDR4 LGA1700 ATX Desktop Motherboard comes with the WIFI & BT functions.

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

      • Wow thats great I might pick one up thanks for the response

  • +1

    Quality build and part selection.

    • +1

      Thank you :)

  • Would be all over this if it was in Sydney.

  • Is it worth pulling the trigger on this deal?
I’m only planning to game nothing crazy and maybe some photoshop. Any other deals that are better just need an advice.
    Thanks

  • Just bit the bullet and purchased a unit with upgraded ram and upgrade to 2TB SSD. No wifi on the z690 but the wifi option was a bit of a downgrade so went with the z690.
All up with postage and Freight insurance with windows 11. $3122. Aramex shipping.

Next alternative was $3161 i7 12th gen dell with a 3070 with wifi 32GB RAM DDR5 with weak PSU460W likely to have a crappy fan. Has DVD drive and card reader if your that way inclined.

    https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-desktop-computers/xps-d…

After some review of DDR5 there was not much of a difference if you OC your RAM. slight CPU performance edge on the DDR5. I'm not a fan of dell cases.

    • +5

You have made one mistake. Aramex.

    • +1

How did you get win 11 man?

      • Just added to the cart as an normal item not from the system drop down

  • Any chance of a crossgrade to an mATX board to use an existing case?

  • Oh, Very solid build with nice options for upgrade.

Just wanna ask for opinions if wifi and Bluetooth are not required, Do you guys think MSI Z690-A is a better board than Gigabyte Z690 UD AX?

Also if I choose to pick it up, how long will this take to build?

    • Hi Wahhaj85,

Z690-A Offers a better electricity supply, making the mobo runs more stable when overclocking.

Once we receive your payment, your build will be ready for pick up within 5-7 Business days.

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

  • What's the time frame from order to be able to pick up from store? I'm looking for something that is great for Adobe CC - Premiere Pro etc and gaming on 1440p that is fairly quiet to be able to record audio. Has been 9 years since the new machine. Looking to replace ROG G750JS Gaming Notebook with 32GB RAM i7-4700HQ and GTX 870M. PS5 is currently used for gaming. Not sure what CPU and thinking 3070 GPU would be enough. Wanting 64GB Ram and 2TB SSD.

  • I have put together the following based on my needs and available parts on BPC website. Want to keep under $2500.

    • Intel 12th Gen Core i7-12700K Unlocked LGA 1700 Desktop Processor - OEM (No Retail Packaging)
    • EVGA CLC 280 RGB LED 280mm Liquid CPU Cooler
    • EVGA CLC Intel LGA1700 Retention Kit
    • Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Ultra LGA1700 ATX Desktop Motherboard (Was really wanting the MSI Tomohawk but not available)
    • Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO SL 32GB (2x 16GB) DDR4 3600MHz CL18 Memory - Black
    • WD Black SN850 WDS100T1X0E 1TB NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD - Without Heatsink
    • MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ti GAMING X 8GB LHR Video Card
    • Corsair 4000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX Case - White
    • EVGA SuperNOVA GA Series 650W 80+ Gold Fully Modular Power Supply

    This totals $2529.00 on BPC

I can some some parts cheaper elsewhere.

Can you give me a better price on this?

Thoughts and comments welcome. Remember I want to the Adobe CC Suite first and Gaming second.

    • Hi Foto256,

      Thanks for your comments.

Can you give us your email & name through a private chat? I can ask the sales team to prepare a quote for you.

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

  • Recently purchased a PC from BPC, can confirm it was very solid, extremely happy with what I paid! I will definitely buy from this guy again. Highly recommended!

    • Thanks for sharing your experience!

  • I don't see this deal existing anymore at the same price?

Finally looking to get a PC, but not sure if it's a website error?

    • Hi matchaIceCream,

We are sorry to inform you the deal price expired already.

You are welcome to let us know your budget & parts you looking for and we will try give you some advice.

      Cheers,
      BPC Team

      • That's a shame! Any ideas when prices will come back down? The build and its price as stated in this deal was what I was looking for.

Happy to carry out the chat in DMs if needed.
