  I have a US Tmobile AC1900 flashed into 68U and another newer original 68U purchased in September 2021 both running stock firmware.

  What are the advantages of using Merlin firmware for both routers in a single-story 400M2 house with ethernet backhaul?

  The US Tmobile version has the older version of the hardware

  The 5Ghz band has just died on my 68U so I'm limping along with 2.4 at the moment. I've been happy with 68U but wondering if it's worth upgrading to the RT-AC86U. I'm not seeing a lot of advantage apart from a bit more top speed which I won't really notice.

  Also can I export the config from the 68U and import into the 86U ?
