Free Rechargeable Batteries with Solder Tags from Electronics Warehouse Just Pay Shipping

430

I have a lot of rechargeable batteries with solder tags that have been sitting on the shelf now for over 12 months. If they are left sitting around any loner uncharged they will start to deteriorate. I have tried to clear them out on sale with little response so I am now prepared to give them away for free as long as the postage packaging and handling costs are covered. PP&H for a 3KG express post satchel is $14. You are welcome to fit as many as you need into a 3KG satchel.

There are three product lines to give away
Sub C batteries with solder tags product code VP3700SCT pack of 4 shipping weight 248 g
Regular C size batteries with solder tags product code VTE4000CT pack of 2 shipping weight 160 g
Regular D size batteries with solder tags product code VTE8000DT pack of 2 shipping weight 272 g

The offer is available until all sold out.

As this deal is too complex to set up in my shopping cart software all orders will have to be taken over the phone by calling 1300 801 885 from landlines or (03) 6273 9442 from mobiles.

Can you please add some pics to explain what these look like?

  • Good onya. Pity I don't have any equipment that take C or D cells or chargers for them. Tip: you can usually peel off the solder tag with needle nose pliers. I did this for a couple of AAA cells with solder tags on sale at Jaycar and they lasted me years in my MP3 player.

Looks like your 30 minute offer worked better than your 12 month shelf time :)

Now this is an example of a well-run business! Unlike so many others that promise to call back but never do.

Appreciate very much the call back to let me know they're all gone after I left a message earlier to check availability.

      Cheers!

  • Have a fun project that could use some D cells. Shame I cant get through.

Persenally I don't need it, but should be fair for all ozbargainers.

Rep stated it was for shelf stock approaching 1yr old. I guess he has fresher stock still available at full price.
If you don't want the item, and don't bother reading the post and messages, why are you whingeing?

    • Raed the post…he said why!!

  • Saw this in the first minute it was posted. Very generous of the poster. I couldn't think of any uses for large rechargeable batteries though. Regular nimh only retain charge for a few weeks, and they can't provide a whole lot of current, so not much use for what I need.

I wonder what uses the the other ozbargainers came up with..?
