Be sure to check the promotion under the price. It has a button to add both to cart.

Receive 1 TicWatch Pro 3 GPS/Ultra charging cable free when you purchase 1 or more TicWatch Pro 3 or ultra offered by Mobvoi AU.

    • If I do this, won't I get 12% cashback from Cashrewards, because this will be treated as promotion used?

      • You might be right. Maybe safer to skip that as 12% cashback would be better I'm sure.

        • Well, the cashback is capped at $20 only, which is lower than that charger price. I think I am still adding that one.
This term "Purchases paid with any Amazon promotional credit as partial or full payment are ineligible for cashback" doesn't seem to match this kind of purchase as that combined discount is not really a credit.

          • @webster2004: Better to skip the promo to get the cashback. Its showing as a promotional credit at the checkout. One charger is inside the box anyway

            • @AshB: Cashback is not available for promo items from memory

        • Cashback don't seem to be doing the 12% anymore

    • Don't understand this charger deal. Isn't it inside the box anyway..? Or am i getting 2 with this promotion..?

      • +1

Yeah it's in the box and you're getting an extra one. As you can see it's a proprietary charger so it's good to have another one.

        • I think its better to avoid the promo in that case to get the cashback. Cz it shows as a promotional credit at the checkout.

      • I think it's an extra one for you.

This or a Galaxy Watch 4?

    • +2

I would go GW4 now that assistant is available even though it costs more. The downside is that not all health features are available if you don't have a Samsung phone.

      • +2

Search Google for "glalxy watch4 healh monitor wearOS mod xda" and you'll be able to get it. I'm running it on my pixel 6 with zero issues. There's a video to go along with it so it's easier to follow.

        • That's true but how many ppl are really prepared to side load modded apps? I know I wouldn't but YMMV.

    • +1

Galaxy. If you're OK with their customisations. Has WearOS 3 for one thing (there's rumours WearOS 3 may come to these, but yeah never buy any hardware on the promise a software version will come).

    • -2

      Definitely GW4.

Android Wear isn't great, made worse by the 2011 chips used.

    • Galaxy. No comparison.

    • +3

Compared to every one else, I actually like the ticwatch pro 3 more because it's an easier stock android ui (imo) and the battery is a beast. The missus' GW4 lasts 1.5 days ish? Whereas my watch can push 4 days and much longer if I use essential mode (battery saver mode, dual layer FTSN screen only). Also, the SD4100 is smooth as well - the same as the GW4.

I reckon, if you're down the the Samsung ecosystem - I'd lean towards the GW4. But battery? Hands down this deal compared to anything else (besides hybrid smart watches).

Edit: happy to answer any questions. Like assistant was updated recently so I now can use Google to turn on/off, open/close all my smart home devices.

      • The biggest gripe for me was initiating a call or sms using "ok google call xxxx" has not worked in a long time. Does this work on your watch? (Without settin language to US English)

    • +6

wow so many recommending GW4, are you all okay with 1 day battery ?

      • better short battery life than a watch that may stop working properly after an update.

  • +3

I'm quite over wear OS. Google has never bothered to fix the assistant issues plaguing many users (and Mobvoi simply says nothing when you ask them about it).

    • +2

Yep and it's shit having to have phone OS set to English US just for some of the Assistant features to work

    • Yeah, it just stopped working on my Huawei watch, so annoying, I'm off smartwatches altogether now. Getting a Seiko Pressage tomorrow, looks so much better and doesn't need charging all the time!

      • +1

yeh I'm back to wearing normal watches!

  • +2

Cheaper direct with code VIPPERKS10 $250

    • Mobivi is not a good place to deal. You are much safer through amazon

      • Agreed - they are complete turds
This is a good deal (so unfair to neg) - but personally i never want to deal with this company again. Beware
Plus i think the watch i have is poor - in the market for a new one asap

      • I didn't have much trouble with them. Sent me some TicPods Pro 2 or whatever they call them for leaving a review on Amazon, then were fine with replacing this watch when it crapped out.

  • +3

I had (and loved) my Samsung watch for a few years, until the battery lost its ability to charge.
Based of the good reports on here, I then bought a Tic Watch Pro 3 GPS and I absolutely loathe it. I was going to use it for work, but it's sitting in the bottom of a draw somewhere; poor build quality, crap software, dire device.

  • +1

had ticwatch e3. HR sensor stopped working, nothing would bring it back. Took a while to get my money back since service rep kept pushing replacement at discount and etc. I'd avoid and stay with more reputable brands.

now have Garmin Instinct Solar, never missed a beat.

  • I had bought a GW4 from a recent deal. The GW4 battery drains too quick especially compared with my old GT2 and unfortunately it is not well supported to some Chinese apps. Ordered this Ticwatch and see how it goes.

    • +2

i think you will be disappointed as well

      • Its battery is much better than GW4, easily alsts 2-3 days with normal use.

    • One thing to watch for, the first software update it does will disable the compass. So if you want that, don't update it.

  • +1

Don't purchase if you want to use while swimming. I returned this watch 4 times under warranty and each new one stopped working shortly after swimming with it.

    • You didn't catch on after the second watch? Pretty sure on the Mobvoi forums they were saying to not wear these watches in a shower.

      • Swimming not showering. Promotional material for the watch states "pool-swimming suitable" and it has swim tracking functionality.

I was hoping if I was persistent enough they would just give me a refund, however refund was refused so I just sold the 5th returned watch on gumtree.

  • +1

I almost bought this watch, thanks for the comments. I need a reliable watch. Skip this and keep using my Free Huawei GT watch until better Ticwatch user review at next model.

    Cheers.

  • What is the difference between this and this one?

  • -2

    no magnetic charging, no deal

    • What do you mean? The charger attaches with magnets if that's what you mean.

  • How does this compare to garmin one?
