Car Number Plate Frames, $25 Per Pair + $8.99 Delivery ($0 with $100 Order) @ Unreal Plates

101

Hihi.
I bought these about 3 years ago and still have them.
They are custom car plate frames. I haven’t seen them ever on cars and always wondered why. I got two slim plate frames custom writing top and bottom.
I have had speeding fine (only 7 km/hr over, don’t worry). Police gave me fine for the speeding in Queensland but not for the frame. Also toll has took photos of my plates for toll charge and identification without a problem. I don’t know if they are legal, but usually I see lots of car dealership frames…not sure why people keep them. Free promotion.
But I really recommend people getting their own custom ones.
They still look good after all the weather and rain I have been through.
$25 is better than getting characters on the actual plate as it’s restricted on what you wrote on that. Mine says “skyhopper and skippy” top. And bottom “Sing and Dance: Live Laugh Love” I also have emoji wink plate “LOVUB” haha.

Hope you like this new idea.

First thing I do when buying a car is rip these off I hate them

    • +2

Yep, just a billboard for whoever sold the car.

      • I had mine on my first car for a while, but now I find them funny people just leave them on. I see heaps of them

        • Your description literally says "I haven’t seen them ever on cars and always wondered why."

          • +2

@us3rnam3tak3n: It reads never seen custom “personal” plate frames, not dealers ones.

    • I ripped off the car dealer frames too when I first bought my car

    • +1

Same (though replaced with plain black ones for a few bucks off eBay as I think it looks a bit better )

It was a gift for my wife.

Wow, "cringe" is actually a valid reason for a down vote. I should use it too.

  • They are unreal

Who will pay for the ticket from NSW Services (police)?
The frame is ok but not the number plate

    • -1

Haha. Well luckily not your plate.

I wonder if they'll accept if I ordered
    Topline "www.unrealplates.com frames"
Bottomline "are a waste of money"

So $25 for something like what the dealer throws on (without the dealer name), and no clear plastic overlay either?

  • +2

I have had speeding fine (only 7 km/hr over, don’t worry)

Jesus (profanity), that is ridiculous and or ridiculously unfair.

I see lots of car dealership frames…not sure why people keep them.

Legit the first thing I did after I got my car home was rip their plate off. Hate that crap.

    • It was a 60km/hr zone. But like 8:57am or something so 3 more minutes of a school zone of 40km/hr till turning back to 60km/hr.
Something like that. I do my best to be at or below the speed limit when I drive

  • anyone know how to remove this from the car without damaging the plate? I am thinking of removing it to buff out the dealer's name and putting it back just to protect the corners from kids.

Just use a black permanent marker?

    • On my ones, you just need to unscrew the whole plate with frames and then the frames is just latched on. Might be different from yours but if it’s the same, you can see the latches on the back

      • ok thanks. will give it a go, i just replaced the lights a couple days ago… that got me thinking.

    Live Laugh Love

    Cringeworthy!

  • This or custom plates? 😂

I am also not in retail industry either.

The OP doth protest too much, methinks.

    • Are you in the real estate industry by any chance?

      • +2

No, but I like property news and stuff. I am in education industry.
Nothing to do with sales. Customers In stores I visited before, sometimes we have a chat and they said I help them out more than sales. If I were in sales, I will be spending too much time chatting and informing and not doing my job. Most Salemen/women is more, welcome, here is the product, and x amount. Thanks bye.
Friends in past say I should do a job in marketing or product reviews.
Now I understand a little why.
