  Got some of these last time.

  It won't max out my hard drive disc speed.

  Run a test yourself. Only use this for cheap DVD sata drives.

    You using SSD? I have doubts a standard HDD can saturate a SATA channel or cable.

      The WD VelociRaptor is about the only standard HDD that can saturate a SATA I cable. Only the most recent batch of SSD can saturate the SATA II/eSata connection that most people have if their computer is not new.
