  • I have this and I love it. Well worth it for the price. In my use case, I haven't been held back by CPU or ram either. It runs very well. The best part is the 16:9 aspect ratio of the screen. Speakers suck though, make sure you have a decent set of headphones.

  • This is a great tablet, I do find that the res on this size screen makes the text not as sharp as you might be used to (might be the type of AMOLED screen aswell)? On the whole it's an excellent device at this price point - definitely a great mid range tablet / convertible choice with a great screen for video, and as said above, speakers are weak.

  • Would this be any good for a Zwift setup?

  • this one or Lenovo P11 Pro, or Surface go 3 $547

    • What are you using it for?

      • reading PDF, online movie and reading egg for kids. A big size of screen would be nice to have.
        thanks

        • got one from JB hifi with $10 off perk coupon = 487, cheers

  • Credit to @bayford Limited stock at OfficeWorks for 4GB model @497. (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/698314#comment-12236488), or the 8GB model for $647.
Been using the 8GB for a month and it is great for general use. Form factor is definitely more of a laptop replacement rather than a tablet - when used as a tablet (ie without keyboard) the length makes it a little unwieldy in portrait mode, and when in landscape mode the onscreen keyboard is too wide to reach the middle keys with the thumbs (and no split-keyboard mode, swyping means a lot of ground to cover, and the mini-keyboard is not that good to use single handed.).

  • I really regret I didn't pull the trigger a couple months ago when this 8gb chromebook was $559 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/690547

  • +1

I'm still hanging for the Deut 3 which has just been released overseas. A good update to the duet if it ever arrives
