Saw this on their homepage. Not sure if the QLED version has been this low before.

Says $71 delivery to Buderim, Sunshine coast.

I have an older (now 2 year old) Web OS / non-QLED version of this TV, still going strong. Picture quality is great, speakers suck (get a sound bar).

I had bad experience with EKO 75 inch QLED model. I returned it and got refund.

Lag in Android App. Sound Quality is terrible.

Picture quality is really good and Price is so cheap. I think I paid $749

Those are definitely the two biggest drawbacks. But they can be easily overcome with something like a Google TV or Shield and some speakers

    • You might be talking about the 75" LED.

This is QLED and I have the 65" and its ok for the price.

Note this is an old model with Android 9

There is a newer mode in 55" QLED that comes with Android 11

    • I got a 65" qled eko.
Not lag that I know of. Channels are a touch slow to change but had alot worse (kogan)
Only real issue I have is it turns itself on randomly sometimes. 🤷‍♂️
Few times have been at like 2am wake up going wtf…
And come home from work and TV is going…

      • Turn off main switch once off for night simple🤪

    • Picture quality sells. When you go into a store to buy a TV you never hear how bad it sounds, or see how slow it is.

Smart TV manufacturers have no incentive to implement better speakers or hardware into their TVs. I defy you to find a brand new TV that doesn't have those two problems.

The workaround is to get a Chromecast with Google TV or NVIDIA Shield and a receiver or soundbar.

  • I returned mine too, UHD

    Bad sound and soundbar lag

Just a goggle TV dongle and sound bar …..done …..can't fix picture but laggy android or sound is easy …..

    • +1

Great, except you get lag with a soundbar too

      • +1

Is the lag of the soundbar when using the built in android features? I recon it's the laggy android causing it. But in case the tv itself is causing it, a dongle or player with audio out should fix it.

        • I had lag on FTA and streaming apps. It was a slow increase leading to obvious mouth flap lag after 6minutes. At about 10-15 it went mute for 10 seconds, then garbled and reset back to normal. I replaced with a Hisense and no lag at all.

May as well get the telstra hisense 75inch deal (or buy someone's when they hit marketplace)

    • Deal is expired

I had a play with the menus on these in store to see what they look like when properly tuned.

    Pro
    - they can produce an excellent picture with full adjustment options not often found in cheapies.
    - you can turn down the backlight to save power and produce better blacks.

    Con
    - In default settings they use a lot of power, say compared to a TCL. Almost double.
    - Viewing angle was poor on the QLED. Very poor. Be careful with side sitting lounge rooms.
    - potential for lots of glare reflection with QLED.

    Not Sure
    - The JVC TVs worked from the same remote, with the same menus. So the same TV internally, but could be a different display panel. The JVC was way off tune by default, but also looked good when tuned.

    Research
Suggest quality control is the issue. Seems like 3 out of 10 die prematurely.

Speaker quality really shouldn't be of any concern, don't buy a big tv for sound it's 100% picture. Outsource the sound anyway. Android lag could be an issue but I only stream Netflix or stream from my tablet to tv via wifi. No Bluetooth. If those all work great then it's an insanely cheap large tv with big W easy returns.
