On the top of the web page it says:
Compatible with HW-Q600A/ZA, HW-S60A/ZA, HW-S50A/ZA, HW-A650/ZA, HW-A550/ZA, and HW-A450/ZA speakers (sold separately)
but lower down you can expand the accordion for tech specs and it says:
HW-A450/XY, HW-A550/XY, HW-A650/XY, HW-Q600A/XY, HW-S60A/XY, HW-S61A/XY
So I'd say yes, it looks to be compatible. I don't even know what the differences are between ZA and XY - sometimes companies use slightly different designations for different regions, e.g. for different power plugs. Maybe HN just copy-pasted from an international brochure?
I have the SWA-8500s and they were a bit soft for sound even at highest setting. Was really disappointing until I added an amp.
So I bought a $30 amp (said 300w+300w) from eBay/China, made sure to check out the output wattage was capable. Then I used an InstallGear Ground Loop Isolator Amp Noise Filter ($20) to remove the white noise and hissing (didn't get two amps because of this). Additionally I spent about $15 on speaker cable and $5 on speaker wire to RCA adapter.
Now I love my sound setup.
A similar thing happened to me.
I bought some steak from the butcher, but it was a little raw for me.
So I bought a griller and now I love the steak.
I have this setup with my 60a, highly recommend for a smaller lounge

Don't be so sure, I bought the SWA-W700/XY subwoofer for a really good price ($50) and got lucky and got the HW-MS750 sound bar for a really good price. But it has been almost impossible to find the Wireless Rear Speaker Kit (SWA-9000s).
