For less than $2k i can get a Yesoul S3 bike, M1 iPad Air, and an Apple Watch. Signing up for apple fitness will also be far cheaper than the peloton subscriptions.

    • But how else will I have an emotional transformation though a piece of gym equipment. The trainers on Pelton are so cringe. I am the owner of a bike+ btw

    • I have the Yesoul. But to get credible power data I fitted it with Favero Assioma Unos that cost more than the bike. I run Peloton Digital on a 2016 iPad.

I really like my setup, but I don't doubt that the Bike+ would be better.

    • I’ve done extensive research and no DIY setup is on-par

Share prices for Peloton are at an all time low too, if anyone is daring enough to risk it.

    • Yeah, I had three thoughts when I got this email:

      • That's a nice way to get back a fair chunk of your AMEX fee if you were in the market
      • I should post that to OzB
      • If this isn't the clear signal for the end of PTON, I don't know what is
    • Sure is, imagine being one of the suckers who bought at IPO or their high point and didn't sell off when you could have…this is what happens with you get companies who are not tech companies who are desperate to frame themselves as tech companies and digital disrupters. I can see parallels here to WeWork.

Sounds like a good deal if you have the card and if it will stack with the $150 referral.

Waiting on delivery of ours ATM, going make use of the 30 day trial to see if we will keep it. $59/mth ongoing is a fair bit, but we have a few people at home using it and the reviews are overwhelmingly positive.

  • RIP Wags, death by Peloton

Also just noticed that the 30 day trial has been extended to 100 days! https://www.onepeloton.com.au/home-trial

Go one size up with the shoe size (using the referral credit) and buy as many accessories as you want as they all qualify for the 100 day trial; but not if you buy the accessories separately.

        • Thanks mate. Wish I’d read this earlier as didn’t realise the 100 day trial qualified on accessories! Ah well!!!! I’m excited to get my bike next week :)

  • Tried to buy a bike with a Visa card and the rep said no discounts for you! Go figure. Don't think Peloton want my business!
